Polhawn Fort

I had the pleasure of photographing Robyn & Liam's wedding at Polhawn Fort in June 2023. What an incredible venue this is, with a beautiful outdoor ceremony space right by the cliff edge overlooking the sea. We took advantage of their private beach too. Even if the weather is a bit more British than we were blessed with, the venue has so much character inside that you wouldn't feel like you've missed out. A fantastic backdrop for photos, a great atmosphere and, overall, a fabulous wedding venue. Definitely add this one to your shortlist if you're in the south of England. Everything we hoped for and more. We had the most amazing wedding day here. If you're travelling from far and worried. Do it! It's worth it!Polhawn offers a very unique set up I didnt see anywhere else. You can choose all the suppliers you want and you still have the basics you need, friendly staff to help move things around and advice on your options.And the private beach is a major bonus! I mean it's a fort by the sea doesn't really get much better then that!

We had our wedding here on 15th June 2023 and there aren't enough words to say how amazing it is! Not only is the location truly magical, the venue itself is clean, authentic and well maintained, the gardens are spectacular and the staff go above and beyond to help you. I want to give a special mention to James and Kieron who were 2 of the loveliest, helpful guys ever! Thank you Team Polhawn Fort for our amazing wedding - we will never ever forget our time here.

The most spectacular place I've stayed for a wedding. The staff were incredibly helpful and the views were amazing (even when drizzly)!

This is a great venue for weddings. It's a historic fort situated on a cliff overlooking a large bay and has a private beach.

A magical, exciting destination wedding. We were all involved in setting up and wandering the beautiful location every day was so amazing relaxing. You are a lucky couple of you get the chance to marry here. Fairies roam the grounds the breezes off the channel are delicious! Thank you for taking such good care of this location.

Large area for Wedding with terrace and lawn looking out to the sea. Unfortunately not very disabled friendly the only toilets on a level are in bedrooms and all the outside areas are up or downstairs. The main room is accessible but its is down a very steep path. I realise that it is a old Fort so it making it accessible will be hard but if booking a function hear epwith disabled guests be aware of the problems.

Visited for a wedding last weekend and what a venue. Catering and event team were brilliant, food outstanding and super unique venue. Can't recommend enough
