The food was delicious and well presented and the portion sizes were generous. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming and the prices were extremely reasonable. We will definitely be coming back!

Great little restaurant! Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food is excellent and prices very reasonable. The spiced tea is superb and so are the combination platters. It is totally possible to eat for £10, which really rare for North London. This feels like superb home cooking from Eritrea. The burning incense provides an exotic touch to the experience.

The most amazing Ethiopian and Eritrean food I have had! I never normally like the bread but this was delicious. We got the sharing platter for 4 between 3 people and did not leave any. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone

Dropped in here at 9pm on a Saturday night and had the meat platter set - delicious food, good service and generous servings - we took some home with us! Would definitely revisit.

I stumbled across Yetenbi by accident and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. We ate kitfo, misir wot, and lega tibs, and were blown away by the deftness and diversity of the spicing. The kitfo was a riotous explosion of flavor (especially with the recommended addition of the lime provided on the side); the misir wot was a hug in a bowl, with warming spices and a hint of chili; the lega tibs was the most subtle of the three, allowing the freshness of tomatoes, peppers, and rosemary to shine through. Everything was a revelation. A particular bonus of this place is the option of getting a half portion of two different mains, keeping prices down. A hefty meal and tea for two came out to £24. I fully intend to become one of their regulars. The only criticism: we arrived at 1 PM on a Saturday, and it didn't seem like they were ready for customers. We were the first people there and had to wait a long time for the injera to arrive before the food could be served. The place picked up around 2, and things got a lot quicker. If you're in a rush, come for dinner instead of lunch. Otherwise, relax and enjoy one of the best culinary experiences in London.
