My first and last stop for all fish supplies and of course fish themselves, Stock a huge variety of fish, shrimps and your great oddballs, Everything and anything you need they will cater for, Love it, Started with 1 tank now have 7 and 95% of my fish came from riverside, Will always shop here. I just want to say a massive thanks to all the staff who are extremely knowledgeable on almost everything to do with fish, I will always come here, My bank statements show the proof lol

I went there several times, bought a lot of equipment and spent several hundreds. I drove 40 minutes because they have a good selection and I received professional service and advice (hence 2 stars and not just one).Today I went there again, and I was told by the owner that I came too many times in the past week, asked so many questions and wasted their time, and that I should do my own research. I felt unwanted as a customer and honestly I’ve never felt so humiliated in my life. I will not set foot in this shop again.

Phenomenal shop. At the back of the garden centre. Everything you could need for your aquarium. At great prices. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful variety of stock. Visited this place couple of times and as with everyone else here, the customer service is top notch. People here knows their fish and you can tell by their tanks setup. Fishes are grouped for compatibility and to meet their specific requirements. E.g. I've got some marvelous specimens of Chocolate Gourami from them and their tanks was heavily planted with stained tannin water and subdued flow to mimic the fishes preference and natural environment. Having previously own these sensitive gem, I was relieved to see them being taken care of to such high standard of welfare.I preordered the fishes and despite my eagerness to get them home, David insisted they would complete their quarantine period, again it speaks volume of the high standard and ethics of the crew and the quality assurance you'd get from them.Highly recommended, huge livestock selection, great quality fishes, and five star customer service. I just wish I stay next door! Attached a picture of my lovely chocolate gouramis in their blackwater setup, just as how I remember finding them back in Malaysia back in the days.

I'm fairly new to the whole fish keeping world but I have to say I have been massively impressed with these guys.Above all the fish absolutely come first. They asked questions and properly tested water before issuing fish. This was extremely useful as the tank had not fully finished cycle although the test strips were not picking up ammonia levels. They gave me advice on how to improve the water condition.I have never seen better looking or healthier fish. Decided on a Betta and colour and fins are amazing. I have received many comments regarding how good condition the fish is in.They're customer service skills we're excellent. I had a six year old with me who was a little disappointed when we realised water was not quite ready. They interacted with my little girls and explained the situation. The reserved the fish and put my daughter name on the tank. We took several trips into the shop as they were so accommodating.I personally feel the cost of their fish is very reasonable for the excellent quality of fish you receive along with their time and advice. You never feel rushed and nothing is too much hassle.I feel that this is much more like a family run shop with great experience and care. Not just the money making machines in more mainstream chain stores.I will make all my purchases from this shop and would not hesitate to recommend to new or experienced fish keepers.

Drove an hour to get here and wasn't disappointed! Fantastic advice from staff who genuinely care about the fish over selling you stuff that you don't need.Also, this is the best kept fish store I have ever been to, the livestock were all in great condition.Despite all this, the prices were brilliant, better than the internet in a lot of cases. Well worth the trek to get there!

Great place to shop if you fancy getting into having an aquarium.The staff are very friendly,helpful and knowledgeable, they are very approachable and will help you with any questions you may have.We will be back, as daughter is setting up her tank with a Betta fish.A Siamese marble koi Betta fish.
