Re-Pointing pointing Thomas Kenrick

Tom and his teams have done a fantastic job of restoring our cottage to its former glory. The brief was to remove concrete render from the gable end, remove concrete pointing from the front elevation and to repair and replace stones and repoint in lime mortar. Tom and his team are skilled craftsmen and great people to have working on your home. I can’t recommend them enough.

Tom and Neil have done an amazing job on our stone cottage, clearing out and replacing all of the lime mortar on the cottage walls. We have a really old Pear Tree growing against one of the walls and Tom was very considerate of it, wrapping it up and protecting it as much as possible from the works. Punctual and polite, both were a pleasure to deal with. They were a few ‘interesting features’ discovered along the way, as nothing ever is quite what it seems with this cottage; repairs were made where needed and they have done a fantastic job. We’re thrilled with the finish that really makes the stonework (and the large fossil on the centre of the front wall) stand out now. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We employed Tom and his team in June/July to re-point the North and South walls of our property in South Petherton having previously employed him to refurbish the East wall located over a stream back in 2016.The work in each case was completed in a professional and conscientious manner using traditional method and materials.We would have no hesitation in recommending Tom for any similar works.

Absolutely fantastic!! Tom and Neil were brilliant, knowledgeable, experienced, punctual, genuine and all round top guys. You can tell they took such care with the stone, it’s lifted the house so much, a fab transformation whilst being sympathetic to the age of the house. We can not rate them highly enough and would happily recommend them, they’re worth every penny. They repointed our entire house with lime mortar, a job we considered doing ourselves, but after seeing the time, effort and skill required we never would have got to the end of it and it never would have looked the same.
