As a continuous cruser I would recommend more boaters to come down the arm. The views spectacular especially at Black Jack's lock. I am not going to lie the canal is very weedy in some parts.The facilities at the basin are good but the signage could be better.

Wonderful waterway running from Aylesbury town centre out to Marsworth and the rest of the canal network. It's lovely here, peaceful and great for walking, though after heavy rain it gets very muddy!

Walking from the Aylesbury Basin along the canal path toward Tring is a very scenic and enjoyable excursion. Free of charge and plenty of excellent photographic opportunities along the way.

a nice place to go for a walk with the family along the canal or to take a boat trip if you fancy it. You can also bring some food for the swans and ducks to feed them (not bread).
