Perth Post Office

7 months, just the same experiences of rudeness, utter disdain, and entitlement.The treatment that was given to a lady who had documentation that needed certifying was appalling. Completely unhelpful, rude, and the obligatory snide comment to her colleague, audible to all.Whe I suggested a couple of ideas as to how she might enhance her non-existent customer handling skills she was both belligerent and passive aggressive, the only aspect of her that was remotely noteworthy.In common with other Perth residents we have limited options, I would heartily recommend the store near Craigie, if at all convenient.Quite of the day We're a Post Office

Consistently the worst post office I've ever used. Used to have sympathy for the staff but they regular chat with each other leaving customers waiting. I've seen all three members of staff who were on together leave the counters to try and fix the self service machines. Last week one member of staff appeared from nowhere with someone from the back of the queue, served them and then closed the window down again! My heart truly sinks when I need to use the place.

I understand that the staff probably deal with a lot of people daily, but there was no need for the rudeness that I encountered with the blonde woman. I literally was on the verge of tears just from the way she barked at me to get back in line as she hadn’t called me over yet. I was very apologetic so there wasn’t need for the shouting and embarrassment. I don’t think I’ve had a good experience at any post office here in Perth since I moved here. Disappointing.

Get told to send a parcel as a large letter so I do. Then wait 20 minutes for someone to come over. Then I get told no it’s a small parcel so I’ve just had to pay more than double and wait another ten minutes. I ask a member of staff for help and she is one of the rudest people I’ve met. Absolutely horrible. Then another member of staff comes over and said I should have deducted it from the initial amount. How am I supposed to do that???? She says she doesn’t know how to do a refund so I have to come back another day to get a refund. Not even worth it. Will find a different post office from now on as the service here is shocking and everyone is very rude.

Several times I have arrived within the hours shown on google and Royal Mail website for the post office to be closed. When staff are there you are lucky if there is more than one serving as the rest are always on breaks. Now they are allowing the products from WH Smith to be sold at the post office counter while the WH Smith staff stand about watching. However I do feel sorry for the decent staff that are still there, they are doing their best to keep the post office operating. Management need to get this place fixed before they have no staff willing to work!

Blonde older woman at the counter has been constantly rude to myself and my partner. I’ve picked parcels up from there before and used it as a pick up point (Royal Mail said I could and I paid extra money for it). Got to the counter and asked for my parcels. She shouted at me and exclaimed “this is a post office, not your house” which was incredibly embarrassing. I had paid to use that post office as a pick up point and there was a large que. Was incredibly embarrassing and I wouldn’t recommend. She then sent my parcels back to Ireland and it’s been 7 months and I still haven’t received them. Was waiting in line for 30minutes beforehand also. What a joke

Amazing service by the staff there. They're always very helpful and patient with me - I hope more staff gets hired or put on soon because the workload for two is too much!! I'm happy going there every time, always goes smoothly, even if there have been some issues with my parcels but then again that is more a Royal Mail issue.

I am just at the post office, there is 8 people in queue with one lady serving. Then second staff come out, speak with friend who is 7th in the queue, go to her point behind window and ask her friend to come to her point, she serves him and then walk of again leaving rest of the queue without even word of apologies! Customer service 0/10

I just wanted to write a positive review. I've been a few times for different reasons. I usually go on a Saturday, early afternoon. It's always busy. But I've not had any unpleasant experiences. On Saturday I had 2 parcels to send, 1 in a box, 1 in a in bag covered in loads of parcel tape. I was expecting to be told off, but the lady helped suggest cheapest option to send recorded delivery to England. She had lots of time for me and was helpful and professional. I massively appreciated that.

No option for zero stars. I have just had an awful experience. Girl on counter circa noon 22 october. I had checked online and established that the £91 digital passport service was available there. I approached the counter gingerly, presented my passport and said I hoped I could get it done. The girl started shouting at me, saying 'we have nothing to do with online...there are notices saying we don't offer this service.. ' I had checked for notices while queuing. The one the girl mentioned said something about the dvla. Nothing about passport service. I asked if there was another post office. All she said was 'dundee or stirling.' No real help. I got the Stirling thistle po number myself and spoke to a very helpful chap, who said to come even tho they don't normally offer the service on a Saturday. I commend that chap.
