Was looking for speaker hire for our wedding party for ages, I was often quoted £££ but found Simple Sound Hire and it was exactly what we wanted. Good price, great communication, simple set up. They were even delivered to us in York. Thanks so much James!

Please don't bother searching for anyone else for your speaker needs. James will be cheaper. He will be better. He will cover everything you need. For our wedding we needed 2 speaker set ups, one for our ceremony and one for our dancefloor. Using SimpleSounds, we managed to get TWO systems for less than other companies were charging for one. We and my wife struggle to understand how James runs his business this way as we felt he was practically doing us a favour! His communication is brilliant and the systems were fantastic. A personal 5 minute video sent beforehand by James explained everything we needed to know, and when it came to it, everything set up very quickly.If you're doing what I was doing when looking for hire, and you're sifting through all the options and you come across SSH, just stop searching and give him a call. Was really easy and laidback organising the hire of the sound system with James and his brother Andrew was a great bloke that came and set it up on the day. Was really straight forward to use even if you’re a technophobe. Everybody was singing into the microphones consistently for every song and the sound was bang on. Had it like probably less than half the volume which was good enough for a crowd of a 100 plus.Cheers lads

The speakers we hired out were amazing! We only kept it at volume 3 and it was more than enough. Saved us so much hiring out a DJ and it ended up being way better too!!So easy to set up and James was super friendly and helpful. The mic came in super handy too!!Thank you for the amazing service :)

Excellent, flexible customer service. James is quick to respond, very kind, and provided clear instructions on how to set up the sound system + microphone. Used this sound system and microphone for our wedding (150 guests) which worked perfectly. Very reasonable price! Already booked in for the next family wedding party!
