I was really fascinated by the history and the beauty of the King's Cross complex that I never suspected. Daniel , the guide, obviously loves the place and he manages to convey his enthusiasm to us. His explanations are very clear and his knowledge of the architectural and engineering developments is thorough. His personality made the walk most enjoyable.

On Wednesday 26 th October I went on Susan Baker’s Great Fire of London walk. It was fabulous. I learnt things I didn’t know- Susan was clear and engaging and I found the walk really engaging. There were quite a few children on the walk with this week being half term and I was impressed with the way in which Susan included them and made the information accessible to them as well as to the adults- which is quite a skill! London Guided Walks is a great company and Susan an excellent guide.

Brilliant. Hazel was super helpful in booking this tour. What we wanted wasn't the norm, but she couldn't have been more accommodating. Our tour guide Ian McDairmid was so interesting, explaining to us various road names, buildings and old laws in such a way you hung on his every word. Our group nearly all worked in the city at some time or another and there wasn't one of us who didn't learn something new. We will definitely be booking with London Guided Walks again. Thanks for a really different and enjoyable morning.

The walking tour of Samuel Pepys's London was a delightful and enriching experience that unfolded like a journey through time. Susan, our guide, was the linchpin of this immersive adventure, embodying the perfect blend of knowledge, enthusiasm, and preparedness.The tour commenced at the iconic Tower of London, where Susan set the stage for the historical exploration. Her storytelling transported us back to the 17th century, breathing life into Pepys's world. She described Pepys’s two visits to the tower, once visiting its zoo and another instance as a temporary resident.Moving on to St Olaves, we discovered the charming church that Pepys attended. Susan's insights into Pepys's personal and professional life made the visit to St Olaves more meaningful, as we could envision the man behind the diaries within the walls of this serene place of worship.The Seething Lane Garden, adorned with markers depicting key points in Pepys's life, became a captivating open-air museum. Susan's meticulous research was evident as she guided us through a few of the markers, weaving together Pepys's experiences and the historical significance of the locations. Her passion for the subject matter was contagious, and it made the tour not only informative but also deeply engaging.The tour concluded at St Dunstan in the East, a stunning church that has weathered the test of time. Susan skillfully connected the dots, bringing Pepys's story full circle. Her ability to tie together the various elements of the tour showcased her expertise and passion for the subject.In retrospect, the positive experience of the walking tour was not just about the historical sites but also about Susan's role in making it come alive. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and thorough preparation elevated the tour, leaving us with a profound appreciation for Samuel Pepys and the vibrant history of London. Susan's guided journey through Pepys's London was a truly memorable and enriching experience.

I booked Hazel's Royal London tour as an office Wellbeing event as part of the Coronation celebrations. She arrived promptly at our meeting point, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone enjoyed the walk and we all learnt something from it. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Hazel gave a private tour to over 25 visiting American guests as part of our wedding weekend. Everyone who attended had a wonderful time on the Victorian Covent Garden walk. Hazel is a gifted story teller and has a great way of making history come to life. She's incredibly smart and her passion for the history that she shares comes through beautifully. I had done many London Guided Walks prior to hiring them for our private group and cannot recommend them more highly for a great day out.

We had such a lovely time learning how many of our Christmas traditions trace back to Victorian times! Hazel was funny and informative, and all the stops were excellent!

We booked the Victorian Covent Garden on 21 October and we are so pleased we did! Our guide Hazel was so friendly and engaging and she enthralled us with lots of stories and facts right from when we met. Our hour and a half walk absolutely sped by. Importantly, Hazel ensured we could always hear her (she had a head microphone which was great) and she gave us plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
