Seriously good tea, fresh and full of flavour. Easy to use and informative website. Friendly, responsive and knowledgeable customer service. I struggled to drink tea in the past having only purchased supermarket brands but after sampling a few of the teas from this site I now look forward to my daily cuppa. :)

Stellar first experience with the Porter Hill Tea Company. Having never tried tea drinking before, Matt was incredibly helpful and generous, allowing me to sample some teas. I also bought a number of teas, and the equipment I felt necessary to brew them, although Matt reassured me that it was not necessary to buy equipment as there were options such as empty tea bags to fill yourself. This made the experience much more accessible to me, and although I bought some equipment anyway, Matt was more than helpful in suggesting ways to enjoy the process with little cost to myself in case I was unsure.Overall an incredible experience, with a kind owner and a delightful shop. Will definitely be back!

A lovely shop with a great range of loose tea which won't make a big hole in your pocket. Really well informed, helpful and friendly staff.

Attended their (inaugural) tea tasting experience! Surpassed expectations and met like-minded folk during the evening. The guys were knowledgeable and friendly Can't recommend enough - deffo the kind of thing Hudds needs!

I went into look for a particular tea straining pot, they had run out unfortunately; however I ended up chatting to the owner who put me on to trying their Milk Oolong offering. They provided me with a small sample bag to take home to try with all the needed brew instructions.I can only say it was a delight, perfectly smooth and with a milky mouth feel. The taste was as if green and black tea had had a baby tea leaf. It's tough competition against my favourite tea which was till now Genmaicha.Let's say I will be going back to get more at some point and I have already reccomended their online shop to a number of my fellow tea drinking friends.

The only place in Huddersfield town centre to buy loose leaf that’s delicious and available zero-waste. The boys are welcoming and friendly and know their craft incredibly well.
