A lovely cafe down by the river in Evesham. Very peaceful down a narrow lane. There's an old chain ferry across the river which is still working and fascinating to watch. Plenty of parking and a nice terrace outside as well as seating in the garden area leading down to the river. Well worth visiting.

We visited in a group for lunch. We sat inside as the weather was extremely hot for our group of seniors.Good choice on the menu. The prices were very good.Food was piping hot and a big portion.Would highly recommend. Also, it's a lovely setting on the river.

Not family freindly at all , was sat in the garden deciding what we wanted to eat and drink while the kids were playing . Owner came over and spoke to us very rudely with an awful tone. He then said the kids were too loud and implied for us to leave they were playing outside with no other poeple in the garden wernt bothering anyone . So we left before ordering. Have spent fortunes in the past having partys there and all sorts, wont be using the place again . And FYI in response to your reply - none of the children went near any plants or climbed on any tables if they would of we as their parents would of been the first too tell them to stop our children are a bit loud and excitable but do not behave like animals .

We booked for a sports social group and we had the place to ourselves. Despite reservations as there were so many of us, some might be eating mains whilst some hadn't had starters, they smashed it. We were all served together, the food was very good and hot, and the service 1st class. Excellent

My 3 year old son was playing in the fenced space this afternoon, a man came over and said 'they are screaming too loud it's not a public park'. I then replied we'll take the kids to the other side of the fenced area then so they can scream as loud as they want'. No mention of climbing on tables or walking on flowers was mentioned by him and he did not advise us to leave- I said we would. If he had told us politely that the children were climbing on furniture or walking In the flowers we would have ensured they stopped.Very rude in the way he spoke to us, and if I was to see my son climbing on the furniture or on the plants then I'd be the first to tell him to stop!

Great spot for a sandwich and coffee. Fantastic location right near the river and directly located by the ferry crossing. Masses of open space in front and plenty of tables. Sensibly some are none smoking however a few, clearly marked are for smokers. Few plants outside for sale at very reasonable prices.Coffee, tea and a Mocha were hot and well made. Sandwiches were clearly made to order on fresh, sliced bread that made things soft and really enjoyable. A bacon sandwich for 3 quid? Good value in the past of the world I normally frequent. Lovely location. Great prices. Great staff. Great product
