Really modern building. You can visit it to learn more about Welsh politics and the evolution of the country over the years. It is interesting even if you are coming as a tourist/visitor, because the staff is really friendly and helpful. They will try to explain everything you want and also small exhibitions can give you a even better view of the status.A very good nice thing is that the building is built with materials coming from Wales and with focus in the environmental sustainability.

Interesting place to visit. Great architecture. Café open to the public and quieter than many others in the area. Airport style security at the entrance so empty your pockets. Tours are available though I didn't take one. I went mainly for the poppy display.

Although I knew this was something to do with Welsh devolution, and knew it before as a landmark, my attention was only truly drawn to it during a torrential down pour, when I and hundreds of other people sheltered under its extreme front canopy. An unusual feature, but something very considerate of the British climate: There should be more of this sort of thing around.During the rainstorm, the canopy was so prominent, it eclipsed the rest of the building from ground level, resembling with the steps up, a stand at a sports arena: I was left wondering why it was there and what it was, believing at the time, the Senedd to be the clock tower opposite. (And remembering that the clock tower is said to be often mistaken for something else, but I couldn't remember what.)The arrangement of steps is also an ideal viewing point for much of Cardiff Bay.Inclement weather aside, I was there for political purposes, so that part is in theme: We used it as a rendezvous point during a rally.

A fantastic experience. The public are able to walk around the Senedd and view certain aspects. The building has some beautiful tiles throughout the building. It's a must to visit

What a welcoming experience! We were standing outside looking at the phoenix artwork inside when a lady came out inviting us inside. She explained to us what the phoenix is all about, and what else we can see and do, then allowed us to explore. I hadn't realised that the building was open to the public so it was quite a nice surprise.

Free entry, security check, interesting to see inside. Cool, unusual wooden structure, and can look down into the parliament chamber from above.
