What a venue! This place truly has the wow factor. The grounds and the lake are breathtakingly beautiful - everyone that has seen the photos of our intimate wedding reception have been so complimentary, and kept asking where we found this gem of a venue. You have so much flexibility to create your special day in your own way, but within such a magical setting. As soon as you turn into the estate and head down the long drive towards the garden you know you're in for something special. Cannot recommend this place more highly. The colours in the garden are stunning in all seasons - one not to miss.

The Wild Garden is a stunning venue. We held our wedding reception there, after getting married at a church in Surrey about half an hour from the venue.There are so many places to explore on the estate, from the beautiful lakes to the private woodland areas, and our photos from the day are absolutely fantastic. It also has some unique and memorable features, including the beautiful “Monet” bridge and the double swing. The surroundings are breathtaking – a real hidden gem!

Having worked in well over 100 venues in the last 14 years, it's quite rare for our breath to be taken away. But as soon as we arrived at the Hyde Estate to play ceremony music for a wedding there, we were blown away! It's absolutely stunning - feels like a magical, hidden away idyll and is quite simply perfect as an outdoor wedding venue. We hope to work here again soon!

Oh, My, LIFE!! This place is incredible! As a wedding cake maker I have delivered to a fair few venues, but nothing can compete with Hyde Estate. It has the views, the space and is trully a magical place to get married. If I was doing it again I would definitely be booking here!

We couldn't have hoped for a better venue for our wedding. Not only is The Wild Garden heartstoppingly beautiful but there is also a totally blank canvas to allow you to do exactly what you want for your day. This allowed us to have a unique and very special wedding that we wouldn't have had the freedom to pull off anywhere else.On top of that is the fact that the team were an absolute pleasure to deal with and didn't mind us popping in and out of the site with various suppliers in the run up to the wedding.All of our guests commented on how unusual and stunning the venue was. People felt like they were really off the beaten track, nestled in the woods but conveniently very close to both London and Brighton.I'm so grateful for being able to use this site and would recommend it to anyone looking to create their own haven in the Sussex countryside.
