Park's Honda Ayr

I bought a car through Park Honda in Ayr and had one of the best car buying experiences yet. Huge thanks to Kirsty, the sales person, who made the transaction easy, was hugely honest and ttustworthy and therefore made the whole transaction hassle free. I felt I got a very good deal on the car and that there was good attention to detail and support from the branch. Many thanks.

Only went back to Honda cars in February & i have to admit to a bit of a dilemma with regards to the information system. I worked most of it out but although I hadn't got my car through the Honda franchise when I got in touch with the Honda service department in Ayr they were fantastic. You should be aware that I purchased my Honda Jazz at my local Parks Motor Group distribution depot in Dreghorn North Ayrshire who don't usually look after Honda. Once again I cannot fault there sorting out my contact at Parks dealership in Ayr.All in all I am happy that they recognise how important customers are so no complaints from me.

Dont visit often, when I do its usually for something unique or parts. But they have always been a brilliant little dealership, hidden away in Ayr.Always helpful.

Went to look at a bmw they had. Dealt with Paula. She was great! Couldn’t be more helpful. I had a few questions that she was going to get answers to, looked at a part exchange and had a rough plan in place if I wanted to go ahead. That night I paid the reservation fee on the car. Today I got a phone call. That’s where it all went wrong. Paula was really let down by her team. A gentleman phoned me trying to push the sale through as other people wanted to view the car. I’m sorry but I’ve paid the reservation fee. You shouldn’t be calling me, you should be calling the other customers saying that the car has now had a reservation placed on it. We will call you if anything changes. That’s not what I got. It was “are you actually going to buy the car”. Disgusting attitude. The gentlemen on the phone also wanted to go through details of my part exchange. All the details were given to Paula the previous day. I’ve ended up cancelling the deal. If this gentleman hadn’t intervened then everything would have been fine. Instead I got an attempt at pressuring me into a deal which I will not tolerate. Walking the line of a breach of FCA guidelines.

Absolutely first class service from Dennis in sales and the rest of the team. Dennis was very helpful and made the whole process very easy and stress free.Best car salesman I have ever dealt with highly recommend.

Car in for service and computer update all carried out efficiently and as quickly as they could. Staff friendly and courteous, coffee on demand will be back .

I found the car of my dreams a 2017 Golf GTI Clubsport advertised by Park's Ayr. I sent an enquiry and received a very quick reply from Kirsty who offered to send me a personalised video. The car looked mint so I arranged a very fair trade in price for my old GTi and that I would get the ferry over from Northern Ireland on Saturday.Kirsty was very upfront and advised there was a general warning light on that they were investigating with a local VW specialist. It then turned out that it might not be fixed in time for Saturday but Kirsty said to come on over anyway to have a look at it to see if I liked it.I arrived over on Saturday 28th May and the car was sitting outside looking amazing. Kirsty then said that the light was no longer coming on after being looked at and if I was happy with the test drive I could buy it and take it home! A lovely way to greet and make a customer happy.We took it for a test drive and Kirsty was just great, fantastic warm, personal and friendly customer service. The car drove perfectly.We sat down did the paperwork over a coffee and off I went. Kevin the manager arranged gap insurance with too.This is a lovely personal dealership seems more a family type ethos rather than the over the top corporate feel that you can get in some dealerships.I got a 12 month warranty and as I am in Northern Ireland they said if I had any issues I could take it to my local VW specialist and they would cover any issues.I will be recommending Parks to all my family and friends and would be delighted to buy another car from them in the future, as Kevin sources some lovely prestige used cars.Kirsty and Kevin thank you for making my dream happen and for the perfect experience.

We have used this outstanding dealership for many years. Kevin and his colleagues- particularly Pam and Linda in the service department are truly outstanding and a credit to themselves and the organisation.Regrettably Honda no longer sell cars capable of towing and we have had to move to another manufacturer.We will miss our visits to Doonfoot although we will probably pop in to say hello
