A car dealer for people who hate car dealers. Worth tracking down (address wrongly listed on google maps - showroom is opposite Mr Mechanic" on the little Harrison Industrial Estate on Crompton Street). Big showroom with plenty of room to look round the vehicles without being pestered. Great selection of higher mileage vehicles with pocket-friendly prices and good warranties available. Tony the owner is nicest bloke you'd ever want to deal with. Happy with the trade-in i got offered and drove away our new car same day after a quick test drive."

Snapped up a great deal, I bought a Fiesta which came with a fresh 12 month MOT and 6 month warranty and 12 month road side assistance. After driving a few 100 miles the engine warning light came on. I contacted the dealer who helped me fix the fault without any hassle and with a smile.Good crew over there. Also fixed a leak for me.Definitely recommend. Look forward to doing business again in future Tony...!!

I bought a car for £1550 from here 8 months ago, one week later the parking brake broke, which they repaired and 4 days later it broke again, the car has now been taken for MOT 8 months later and the repair bill was £900 the car has only done 4500 miles, the garage i took it to advised me that the repairs would have been existing problems and the sales company will have friends at there mot garage who passed the car for them to sell. Avoid at all costs!

Brilliant service and honest trader. I took a chance on a BMW 330ci that was advertised as spares or repairs and was really happy with the outcome. Was told by Tony what the symptoms were prior to purchase. Had the car delivered and now its on the road running and driving very well. Thank you, the risk paid off

At leist the last place we called told us they wouldn’t move it from the corner before we set off! I wish this place had said that when we called. Would have saved us a wasted trip

Bought car in July. Done about 8000 miles, had issues with locking system, electrics since day one. Good it to Renault who advised it needs £3000 essential work and another £3000 recommended work. Completely dodgy company, and obviously crooked MOT's. Renault said there was no way there would be this much damage in a space of 9 months. Shameful!

mm sold a car to my stepson sold as seen no warranty, I've hone through to collect it today, didn't even get a mile down the road head gasket, not impressed 5lt water and 2lt oil, garage took the car back but only gave him a % of his £1000, this is why you don't buy sold as seen but £800 better than nothing

Went to look at a car at Carson Motors. We had set up an appointment and arrived at the site 10 to 15 minutes early. The principal,Tony, was not there but arrived within five minutes after being called. Tony pointed out the car and permitted us as much time to check out the vehicle as much as possible. We asked if we could take it for a test drive, and Tony obliged. He pointed out that for insurance reasons, only one of us could go on the test drive. There were several issues with the car in our estimate, and we made an offer based on what we thought the problems were. Tony refused to budge on the price, so we left to look for the right car elsewhere.Tony responded that we offered him £500 below the price of the car we looked at. Why was that? The car has a part exchange value of £710 which he acquired in the last month. He is offering it at a sale price of £2190. He claims he paid much more than the £710 part exchange price. If so, shame on him. Additionally, when the car was taken on a test drive, the clutch was extremely stiff in first gear, although it was fine on all the other gears. It could be a minor problem, or it may warrant a clutch repair, which would be more than the discount asked. When the test drive ended, a message saying Engine Fault popped up briefly. We did not have time nor the tools to investigate what this meant, but certainly, it was not a good omen. Additionally, the parking sensors did not work, the center console for storage was very loose, the plastic inside and right below the windscreen was warped and rattled about as you drove, and there many small scratches, especially around the door handles. One of the problems is that this car is 19 years old and finding replacement parts is not easy. Additionally, the warranty that is available cost £299 for two years. It covers claims up to £1000 for each claim submitted during the two year coverage. Tony did offer to provide a three month warranty if we paid the full price. In the end, we would have purchased the car at the lower price so that we would have money to cover the majority of the repairs we felt were needed and the inconvenience of not having the car while it was in the garage for repairs. In the end, we made a fair offer based on a vehicle that had shortcomings. Unfortunately for us and Tony, we could not come to an agreement on a fair value that suited us both.

My friend bought a mito twin turbo a while back, we traveled from Leeds, and mother bought a car from here recently, both cars are great. Thanks for looking after my mum and delivering the car, she's very happy. I will recommend Carson motors if anyone else asks me. Impressed with the service, thanks again, Ray with black 307I must just add, its easy to get to, but we found it hard to find, as the street sign had fallen down, I'm old fashioned and cant easily use GPS, come on preston council sort the sign out. There is a banner on the wall, being dim I didnt see it. Glad we found it though.
