Beach Sauna | Cocoon Sauna | County Donegal | The sauna is a barrel shape with a sea view window to enjoy the scenery while basking in the heat. It is located near the beach entrance where one can immerse themselves in some cold water therapy and then return to the warmth of the cocoon.

Absolutely loved this, so much so we came back and had a second go before we headed home. Would recommend adding this to your list of things to do when in and around Dunfanaghy! Can’t wait to come back :)

A must-do for any visit to Dunfanaghy area. Hot sauna + cold sea water immersion = brain melting bliss. Not to mention that the setting is beautiful. We could see a school of dolphins swimming past Portnablagh from inside the sauna itself.

Wow! Truly amazing experience! I have never felt so relaxed before! I wish I could do this everyday! You must treat yourself to the sauna! If you are just visiting Ireland it’s REALLY a must do on the list! Thank you Eli and Claire for the most enjoyable afternoon!

The sauna is beautiful!! Its located right at the end of the pier which makes getting into the water very easy (there are steps down to the ocean).. One hour is the perfect length of time - going between the heat of the sauna and the cool refreshing water in the sea! Eli and Claire are very kind and helpful. The view from the sauna is amazing, very peaceful and just all round breath taking! Even on a cold day this would be a great activity to get out of the house!

It was grand. The sauna is set on a pier where you can take a dip in the sea between the sauna session. Highly recommended.
