For a year I sent hundreds of emails to UK immigration lawyers/ Advocates all over the UK, while still being in South Africa. Only one, would accept my case, as it was complexed and not as straight forward.When my clearance visa to the UK was approved, I knew that somehow there is light at the end of the tunnel. Long story short, being a parent to my EEA national daughter, not seeing her for many years, along with financial constraints added to my frustration.Joshi Advocates assisted me, while my residence card was pending. Home office refused my application, Joshi Advocates appealed, we won the appeal and our case continued. This has been an emotional roller coaster but so worth it. There were times when I was despondent, I felt sad, I cried, I haven't seen my family in more than a year but I pushed through.
