Loud and unprofessional, very disrespectful to residents. This firm is performing extensive building work on two properties in our road and their behaviour is constantly disrupting the neighbours' lives. From loud music blasting from the properties, to foul language being shouted, parking spaces saved with bins, debris everywhere, we've seen it all. We will never use this company and would recommend everyone stays away from them.

Empire Contractors Ltd have been excellent from day 1. Our kitchen extension was very tricky and complicated from the off due to old deep concrete foundations and drains at the side of the house but they explained their plan and approached the job confidently and professionally. If we ever ran into difficulties it was always well communicated with us and they always worked hard to fix the issue as quickly as possible. Everyone at Empire worked so hard on our kitchen extension and the end result is better than we imagined it could be. It’s transformed the ground floor of our home and made it perfect for our family. Thank you so much to all at Empire, we’re so grateful!

Empire had completed some major renovation work on my property From start to finish the whole team guided me and completed my vision to an outstanding level. Very unprofessional, downright dangerous. Four of these guys have been working in Eastleigh today, and 2 of them have been nastily bullying a third. Pushing the portable loo around whilst he was in it, tipping him upside down into a wheelie bin filled with water, where he could have drowned, and throwing a hammer at his feet whilst he was undressed. I haven’t contracted them, only watched them from my flat. I would steer well clear, they do a lot of messing around on site and clearly their workplace culture is toxic.

Can't speak for their professionalism when it comes to building work but Sonny's driving standards around the Cosham area are absolutely horrendous and obnoxious, not the wisest considering he is doing it in a vehicle with his company's branding on it. The same disrespectful behaviour seems to reflect in other peoples reviews of the company. Dashcam footage available on request.

We have recently completed a large HMO conversion project in Portsmouth with Empire. The guys have all been great. We have worked with a number of builders in the area on different projects for ourselves and our clients and let's just say we have kissed a few frogs along the way. Luckily the Dan and his business partners bucked that trend.These guys have been quick, fairly priced and finished to a very good standard. I would highly recommend them, We are just signing them up for two more projects starting soon.

Living in the same street as an Empire HMO conversion is an awful experience. Constant shouting and swearing, radio blaring, using the concrete mixer on the road, using a flat-bed truck as a skip to create extra dust and noise, scaffolding not protected at street level and not lit up at night. Inadequate scaffold covering to minimize dust and noise, poorly attached so that the wind catches it and keeps residents awake at night. Daytime noise makes it impossible to work from home for those living closest. No notice was given of work commencing and no indication of how long it will take.
