Have been attending this Festival whenever I can pretty much from the year it began. Always a fascinating, inspiring and thought provoking selection of contemporary literature as well as politics. Just as good online too. Love it!

The events - whether in-person or online - are invariably excellent and engaging. A personal highlight was Akala's appearance in 2016. Highly recommend!

A wonderful welcoming festival, intelligent, inspiring, enlightening. Pinnacle planning in abundant play here, both the range of speakers is top drawer and the ideas and thinking covered is appetising from end to end. As both a punter and speaker, the experience is spot-on. I could not rate this more highly, and I have been to a fair few literary festivals!

The best of the literary festivals - there's a lovely ethos. The online events are excellent; even better of course when it's fully back to normal and we can enjoy the city and the festival.

I've been attending The Cambridge Literary Festival from the very beginning and have enjoyed watching it grow as an organisation. The programming is always carefully thought out, with a diverse range of authors and speakers.I generally concentrate on seeing all the events with a feminist theme however I always really love the New Statesman Debate too! An amazing weekend, packed full of laughter, education and you come away feeling like your brain has been massaged. The team are so well informed, and always keen to help point you in the right direction! The festival itself is situated in the heart of Cambridge City Centre, meaning it's a stunning walk to get to each event. Couldn't recommend this festival enough (even if you're someone who isn't THAT into books)
