The chicken skin is too salty, hence quite unhealthy. Even though the seasoning does not particularly penetrate into the chicken so one will have to eat the inner part to neutralize the very concentrated salty skin. They should consider reducing the seasoning for the chicken. The chips and fish are not so bad as well.

I a ordered a large family meal and these guy gave me old chicken and had a bad smell and chips was old no taste Absolutely disgusted. Do not buy from here not worth spending

I actually really like the food and service despite it being overpriced but its the second time now where I've gone in and a friend or family (no idea) of the people working there completely cuts the queue, places an order, and walks out while they wait. really turning me off going there

Not only the prices gone up but food quality definitely has got worse. The size of the chicken has shrunk it makes you wonder if it has been put on a diet. The food doesn't feel fresh definitely the chicken it looks like it been cooked and sitting in warmer for sometime looked wrinkled up and color was definitely not what I've seen in past. Called up to inform in middle of call staff put phone down fantastic customer service called up again immediately after nearly giving up 20 rings later staff answers call same person asked why they put phone down said they were busy no apology or anything looks clear profit before customer satisfaction eventually he said bring back the chicken refund money night was ruined was looking forward to takeaway. Absolutely Rubbish experience they just don't care it was clear when food was returned he opened it and look on his face I think even he agreed was not fit to serve customer s. Check your food before paying and departing lesson has been learned I will not be going there's ever again

Standards have dropped now and it’s very sad, a few occasions we were provided with old soggy chips, old chicken and wings which is just appalling, previously the quality was good but now in the present the quality has dropped once again, if you want your money wasted come here, the least you get is quantity not quality!Old review: Not that bad now after a few changes, before was quite bad but has changed, would be good if they don't dump sauce (mayo) on the chips in the corner otherwise to much sauce.

The garlic bread was actually very tasty and a good bang for the buck. Unfortunately the fish was the worst fish and chips I've ever had. I'm trying to find the words to describe the disappointment. The fish was a bit dry and over cooked. The batter was cooked unevenly, at a guess the batch of batter used wasn't fresh. The fish came out too greasy. I would rather they just gave me the fish uncooked than what I received. The only thing salvaging a second star is the garlic bread. Would not recommend for the fish, a shame for a place which has cod in its name.

Greasy, overpriced food. Chicken wings aren’t properly battered and have veins everywhere. Chips are dry and bland. Shop smells entire area.

Great food, had the Mega chicken burger meal and it was amazing, did have to wait for 15 mins but it cooked fresh and full of flavor, chip shop chips were on point too, friendly staff who actually do try very hard to please customers despite the reviews people have left, would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get value for money and good food.
