Ed and his team provided invaluable advice during our home purchase process. He helped us avoid falling foul of buying a property which would have required very extensive remediation work but that on the surface looked fine. We then went on to purchase a much, much better property - again with his support. We couldn’t recommend him more highly- it was the best money we spent throughout the home buying process.

I have used Sheffords on two occasions now for a homebuyers level 2 and level 3 survey report. Sheffords were extremely professional and easy to work with throughout the whole process.The survey reports were comprehensive and very informative with great attention to detail. The team then made a follow up call further to the report being issued and they took the time to go through any questions I had relating to the report. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Jeremy, Ed and Louisa and I would highly recommend the Sheffords team. I will most definitely be using them again in the future.

Excellent service provided by Ed at Sheffords. We opted for a full building survey, and were provided with a comprehensive, well documented report, covering various aspects of the property. Within the report, any areas for concern were clearly highlighted, and were applicable photographic evidence was provided. Once the survey was completed, this was followed up for a telephone conversation to run through the report, and highlight any other issues that should be examined. Communication throughout was excellent and report was produced swiftly. Very happy with service and would definately use again.

I used Sheffords for a level 2 survey, the detail of the report was much more than needed. It give us clear direction in moving forward with the purchase of our first home. Ed was amazing, he gave us great professional advice when we were renovating our house. As lay people, my wife and I, have no clue about building work, what is a reasonable quotation or even the quality of the work etc. Thankfully Ed helped out and recommended builders, roofers and tradesmen that he has used over the years. All cost exactly what was quoted and on time. He made a potentially very stressful time for us completely un-stressful. Absolutely brilliant.

Extremely happy with Sheffords' service. We had a Homebuyers' Survey done on a house and it was very thorough and helpful in the buying process. We had a call afterwards to further discuss the results and it made us understand the whole situation fully. Definitely recommend Sheffords for your Surveys and we would absolutely use them again the future for other services.

I used Sheffords for a homebuyer's report and valuation in the Sevenoaks area. They gave an excellent service and dealt with me very honestly, even going so far as to advise me to downgrade the level of survey I'd requested to better match my requirements, despite the downgrade of survey costing them money. In the end, the survey provided was great and highly detailed.
