Couldn’t recommend Josh highly enough. He put us completely at ease from the second we met him at our pre-wedding couples shoot and took a lot of the stress out of the big day. He’s easygoing and just fit in so well on the day it didn’t feel as though someone was suddenly sticking a camera in my face (which for someone who hates having their picture taken was a big plus!). Also, his photos are incredible and prices very reasonable for the quality of service. Would book him again without a second thought.

We have Josh to thank for so many reasons. Firstly, we would never have found our wedding venue (Yew Tree Farm) if it was not for Josh shortlisting it within his favourite Lake District venues. This and the sheer quality of his work meant we just had to have Josh for the day.When we first spoke it was evident he was passionate about his work and immediately put us at ease. Thereafter it was a seamless process, everything from booking, payment and the finer details in preparation.On the wedding day itself, Josh was immense. Everyone was so complimentary about him as a person, nothing was ever too much and he was essentially our guest for the day. Josh goes about his work with minimum fuss and its evident he is at the top of his craft.In a matter of days post wedding, Josh had shared a sample of the photos and then distributed the entirety of the work shortly after. We booked Josh to photograph our Lake District wedding in July this year. Josh is a lovely, down to earth, personable guy who put us at ease on our wedding day, and most importantly we had such fun with our photos!We did a Couple Portrait Session with Josh a couple of months before our wedding day - And we are so glad we did! Not only was it great to meet Josh before our big day so that we could spend some time with him and get to know him (and vice versa), we also got some beautiful pictures in the spot we got engaged.On our big day, he did a great job of helping us have little 5 minute breathers together, whisking us away to take a portrait, and allowing us to have a few minutes alone to take it all in, which was so lovely.The photos in our online gallery are simply stunning and Josh perfectly captured the story of our day! It was an absolute pleasure to have Josh as part of our wedding day and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him. Thank you Josh :)

I couldn’t have wished for a better photographer than Josh on our wedding day. My Dad died just 6 days before and I was worried I was going to be an emotional mess and the photos would be ruined. Josh was like part of the family…He was kind, caring, patient and funny. He was incredible with my 2 teenage boys, who thought he was brilliant. The day ended up being brilliant, full of smiles and laughs and Josh captured it perfectly. The photos were beautiful…We loved them all. He is a very clever guy and a lovely warm person, who we were so pleased to have chosen as our photographer. Thank you Josh xx

Joshua's photography skills were only exceeded by his kindness, patience and selflessness. He put in extra hours for us to ensure we had photos of all of our special moments, something he didn’t have to do but for which I am so grateful. He was friendly throughout the day, and his photos are sensational. It was my wife who suggested we go with Joshua, and I'm so glad she did, because he made a very special day even better.

Joshua is an incredible photographer and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to capture a surprise proposal. I can't thank him enough for all the help and support he gave me in planning my surprise proposal to my girlfriend.I got in contact with Joshua a few months prior to the date I wanted to propose. Having seen all of his positive reviews and his amazing gallery on his website, I just knew I had to go with him as our photographer. He understood just what I wanted from the proposal and helped make some recommendations for the ideal location to capture that special moment.On the day itself, Joshua blended into the background and was photographing the landscape, keeping the surprise element of the shoot. Then once the moment came, he was immediately setup to capture the proposal and had even captured a video of us arriving at the viewpoint and all the way up until I got down on one knee to ask the question. I hadn't asked Joshua to do this, however I am so glad he did as we now have a video of our moment captured forever.My girlfriend is not the best at surprises and is not the biggest fan of having her picture taken. However, Joshua was very understanding and helped to make her feel at ease, as she was quite overwhelmed with the situation. He is very friendly, very easy to work with and is very understanding of how to get the best out of people when capturing special moments in their lives.The final gallery of our surprise proposal was available only a few hours after the moment was captured. The gallery is very easy to access and navigate through. Each photograph is incredible and I'm so happy that I chose Joshua to capture the proposal. It is something that both my and my partner can cherish forever.Joshua is an amazing photographer and if you are looking for someone to capture your proposal or any other special occasion then I would highly recommend booking him. You definitely won't regret it!

Joshua was the perfect choice to photograph our wedding. He was laid back and easy going. He made an effort to get to know us before the wedding which made all the difference to me as he was taking photographs of us getting ready for the big day. He became part of that too and his experience of weddings shone through with his great advice of when to get the dress on so I wasn't rushing. The photographs were fab, a good mix of posed and him just capuring the day. He edited them and got to us within days too which was amazing. I would highly recommended him.

Josh!Wow what can I say. On our big day Josh was just an extension of our guest list. He was incredible with our guests and went above and beyond for us as the bride and groom.We enjoyed Josh being there so much we forgot he was there to do a job, however he didn’t, stealing us away for 5 minutes here and there to get some incredible shots as the light changed through the day.He worked so quickly after the wedding to make sure we got our photos back and they did not disappoint. He captured the atmosphere of the day so beautifully.I have, and will continue to recommend Josh to all my family and friends because I couldn’t have dreamed of a better person to capture our special day.Thank you so so much xx
