Apple Lakeside

Pointless not trying to help. Staff is rude not caring about their customers. I have AirPods Pro first gen with their manufacturer defect ,but because that window expired now I’m stuck with defective AirPods. Not every one have time to go to shop worrying about air pods when there is more important thinks to worry

I visited the store as I was having issues with my MacBook Pro. The lady on arrival was excellent and got me booked in straight away. I then headed to the Genius Bar and the chap looked over the laptop, and informed me that after running some tests the issue was unrepairable and I would need to buy a new machine. I understand there is a level of checks the staff can do without taking it apart but I decided that would be my next step. I took the MacBook home, took it apart, cleaned all of the components, carried out a SMC reset and powered the machine. To my surprise it is now working as it did when I first bought it nearly 9 years ago. If anyone is having problems then I'd advise them to do the same or I'd be happy to do it for them!

Ordered a 15 Pro to collect from Lakeside, had a good service collecting it, some awkward small talk but smooth process. Coming from Android I wasn't a fan of iOS so returned it and it couldn't have been easier and stress-free to do so, taking maybe 2 minutes from me walking in to back out again with my email refund receipt.

Great place and helpful staff, if you can get one that’s not busy. Could do with more staff but could be worse.

Honestly I am not an apple product girl but was buying it for my partner.I am so glad he told me there was one in lakeside or I would have travelled to Stratford Westfield (which I hate going to).Staff member who served us was lovely and apple products are apple products. We miss you Steve Jobs! The other guy is terrible.

5 star from me for giving me stellar service from in store. I brought my MacBook apple refurb in due to a speaker fault. They sent it for repair on warranty but the repair department they sent it to tried to claim it was a user damage. The store disagreed with this like myself and they then got the MacBook returned to store and repaired it in store. I was close to moving all my products to Samsung but lakeside Apple Store regained my faith in Apple

I purchased a new iPhone 15 pro with the Belkin screen cover at the store in Milton Keynes. Upon getting home I found that there was dust under the screen protector and wasn’t very happy. The next day I went into Lakeside and spoke to a lady called Macey, she was great, offered to replace the protector and she then spent her time making sure that the new screen protector went on perfectly.However, I then found out that the Belkin protector itself was damaged, nothing to do with apple or Macey, just a defect. I went back in to talk to Macey and she carried out an exchange again. This time the protector was again put on perfectly and there were not issues with the protector itself. I would recommend going into Lakeside if you are looking to purchase a new iPhone and screen protector.

I was so disappointed with this store when I went in to buy a new iPhone yesterday. I was asked to come back in an hour so someone could help me transfer my old iPhone to my new phone. I asked if I needed an appointment and was assured I did not. On returning at the agreed time I was told I would have to return in 30 minutes which I refused to do due to not being allowed to make an appointment earlier. After 20 minutes I was told I had 2 in the queue before me. In the end I was kept waiting over 30 minutes when I was told that the store would be unable to do the transfer for me after all and would just supervise me along with others doing it. This was not what I wanted so I left without the phone. I got it from Argos in the end,

If I could rate 0 stars, I would, after my brothers phone miraculously wouldn’t turn on anymore, we took it to Apple to see what the issue is, we were told it was a hardware issue, but they kept it at that, and then said the phone is beyond economical repair and quoted £370 to fix the phone, as I know what a scamming company apple can be, I took the phone to console clinic at Elm Park for a second opinion, I waited in the line longer than it took me to get a proper diagnosis, which was misaligned pins in the charging port.£50, and 20 minutes later, guess what, the phone was up and running.There is no doubt that these commission based sales reps are extorting there customers just so they can see more money in their pocket, it’s disgusting to see that a multi billion pound company would do this to their customers, and it’s shame really because their products are excellent, but due to the dishonesty of the staff, I have to leave this review today.Before you go to these guys, just stop at console clinic first, they are a well established team, with the owner for a fact I know being a certified Apple technician, they have stores in Elm Park, Essex, and Wickford Essex, and they will do everything to get your phone, console or computer back up and running, whilst also being clear and transparent with there customers.Apple, but specifically the workers in lakeside store, should be disgusted, you should really think about your customers as opposed to lining your own pockets.Moral of the story is, use Console Clinic, or Kyle Weinberg if you directly want to get in touch with the owner.
