Really good bookshop with a small but well curated and eclectic stock. You are guaranteed to find something interesting in there that you wouldn't come across anywhere else. The owner is always happy to recommend and advise. Ace

Much-needed independent bookstore in Birmingham. A truly brilliant and eclectic range of books can be found here, always changing, always something new. And there appears to be a strong programme of events, bolstering the literature scene in Brum magnificently.

First visited today - had been planning to swing by for a while. Picked up Chantal Akerman’s MY MOTHER LAUGHS - when I mentioned loving Akerman’s film work, the guy working expressed genuine interest and even wrote down the name of her masterpiece (Jeanne Dielman, 23 quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles). Really great vibe and selection, and the shelf of Fitzcarraldo Editions makes me think I’ll be returning very soon.

One of my favourite shops in Birmingham - such lovely owners who always take the time to have a chat and give (excellent) recommendations. Theres such a fantastic selection of books in Voce that its difficult to choose just one to buy on a visit!I also really appreciate the great events Voce programme, even though I'm not particularly engaged with the literary scene, I've always been made to feel very welcome at the events I've attended, and its amazing to see a place doing such cool and interesting things!

A really beautiful bookshop that is focusing on (considerably) less promoted books, indie publishers, new voices, and classics, all of them of high literary quality; + cozy atmosphere, Instagramable corners, and with very kind owners.

Amazing little book shop! Staff member was very knowledgeable and helpful! Lovely range of books. Would recommend a visit.A little difficult to find as it’s tucked away down a small road but worth it!

Bookshops like Voce are an essential bulwark against the blandness of Amazon or Warerstones. They curate their selection and sell only books they believe in. Well worth a short walk into Digbeth.

Tiny shop with a really unusual selection of poetry, novels and non-fiction including European imprints you won't find elsewhere.

Recommend! Stumbled into this shop while on holiday and it was my favorite stop of the night. Very neat shop with a tightly curated collection. Can’t wait to tuck into my new book.
