Having rented for a number of years now, I have never experienced such a poor landlord / agency. They will do everything in their power to retain your deposit, no matter how immaculately you leave your property (which we did). Structural issues with the building were apparently the tenants problem. Not only did they try to charge for maintenance issues with their building, we also had to chase multiple times (over a 15 week period) from when our deposit should have been returned, which they ignored almost every time until the end. We left the property 3 months ago, and they added new problems weeks after we left, such as “dust”. We settled in the end for a less than reasonable deduction, just to retrain the bulk of our deposit once taking action.I would avoid this agency as much as you can. I never write reviews, but this situation was something I have not experienced before. To make matters worse - they tried to put our rent up from £1.4k, to £1.8-£2k & asked us to offer them…. We obviously declined. During a time where people are relying on deposits to fund their next property deposit, do not treat a customer like this.

Chris and the rest of the team are amazing. She helped me so much during the time we rented a house from them. THey responded quickly to any problem. Very responsive and complete professionals.If you are worried about something don't, because they're awesome and know how to communicate with people.

Burkhart were fantastic. We had a few issues that our Landlord refused to help with but Burkhart stepped and resolved them with no problem. They were quick and helpful whenever we contacted them and were accommodating when setting up viewings to our property. Would highly recommend them for anyone renting.
