Regis Salon Lakeside

Thurrock Regis is a friendly and welcoming salon. It is clean, tidy and well run. Jodie has been highlighting, cutting and finishing my hair now for a couple of years. From the first appointment onwards she listened to what style and colour I wanted to achieve and has then carried this out time after time. Thank you Jodie and the salon team for the great service.

Been coming here a few months now as I previously decided to attempt to thin my own hair and ending up butchering it with bleach and home colour. Jodie has since manage to get my hair in a gorgeous condition since my first appointment and it’s finally healthy and growing. Couldn’t ask for better treatments, patience and staff. Amazing service and client care and the end results being healthy hair!

Had a balayage colour treatment with Valentina. I didn’t see this at the time, but she’s bleached my hair so wrong, not blended the balayage properly (looks like dip-dye rather than balayage) and left two random round spots of bleached hair at the back near the top of my hair. She didn’t even tell me or try to fix it, I found out when my friends pointed it out. I also asked for dark brown because my hair is black, and even showed her pictures, there was no recommendations from her about what would work and the colour is completely wrong!! Very poor skills, I do NOT recommend going here for a colour, especially for the extortionate price, I expected a much better service!!Also had a cut and blow dry with Valentina, she cut way more than I asked and even kept cutting after blow drying, the cut even looks choppy, no blending/feathering!!

I’ve been coming here for the past 2/3 years and I must say these girls never fail to make my hair look fabulous. I’m always leaving the salon with a smile on my face, I get loads of compliments & my hair feels so much healthier after treatment.I had a balayage hairstyle done yesterday by the lovely Joe who went through each process with me for the hair dyeing & styling. She was super busy yesterday but still managed to keep on top of things - and that’s a great thing to control as a hairdresser!The girls that work here are so so lovely & always make me feel welcome. Definitely would 100% recommend

I had a wonderful experience yesterday at Regis in Lakeside, I hadn't booked but was able to get a wash, cut and blow dry for £35 from the most amazing stylist, Valentina, as a walk in, who also gave a stimulating head massage during the wash process and the best restyle haircut that I have had for years. My being a wheelchair user was no problem to them at all and I left feeling absolutely wonderful, so I would highly recommend.

Never any staff. Frequently shuts at 5.30pm or earlier. A different price for the same haircut every time too, ranges between £15.95 and £28. It’s a lottery!!

Spoke to the lady, she showed me how much hair she wanted to cut, I said no, she showed me a new amount… still said no. I then showed her what would be enough for me and explained I didn’t want it any shorter than that.. would say it was an inch off.She then proceeds to cut my hair … taking 5inches off of my hair. I requested layers, should have cut 3 in and she cut 2 with a 3 or 4 inch difference between the two. When complete I said this is a lot shorter than I asked and she said it’s because it’s curled. Absolutely livid

I had a fantastic experience in Regis Lakeside yesterday. I went in for a Balayage, haircut and blowdry and Bethany was absolutely perfect: Attentive, professional at all times, and my hair looks amazing. She got the colour so right, no brassiness at all (going from Brunette into Balayage) and I have had balayage before, but never like this.Customer service was excellent, but not only her, there was another girl, Valentina (I believe this was the name) she was so gentle when cutting and smiling at all times. I felt that even though they were on their own and (there were several people there for only two hair stylists) they were multitasking and not complaining at all and managed to please everyone. If I were the manager, I would definitely praise them for their excellent job.Thank you so much for yesterday's appointment, everyone is commenting on my hair and how great it looks.

Finally found the place to take care of my hair! Highly recommend Jodie! She’s a master in haircuts!
