Roger, Naomi & Jackie have been absolutely fantastic and supportive. The service was fantastic and the way they looked after my mom & I from the start was brilliant. They are very welcoming and went above and beyond for us. I asked if I could spend time on Father's day with my Dad in the Chapel and Naomi & Roger made it happen without hesitation. From the first time we made an appointment to see Roger he was kind courteous and he had our family by the way he made us so comfortable. He made sure that my husband was well taken care of and he and the team were professional throughout our journey. Words cannot begin to describe (but I'll try anyway) the level of service, attention to detail and consideration provided by Roger & Tracey who together with Greg Hickton are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble in making sure you get what YOU want not what the large corporates would like to sell you. They have now conducted two family funerals (My Mother In Law in 2018 and my dear wife Sylvia very recently) and although we are in no hurry, all our family would not hesitate to trust them to take care of us in the future. Sadly we recently had to arrange a funeral for my father, we contacted several other local funeral directors but it was Roger and Naomi's comforting and confident response that made our decision easy.Their costs were completely transparent with no added extra expenses which we found not to be the case with other directorsHaving never arranged a funeral before, a daunting task was made so much easier as everything was taken care of by Roger, from booking the church, crematorium, order of service, cars, flowers ,casket, and taking great care and respect of our dad whilst in their care.The actual funeral day went exactly as planned thanks to Greggs (funeral director) meticulous planning. His calm and dignified manner was truly appreciatedAll through the process everyone from Hicktons Funeral Directors were always kind respectful and nothing was to much trouble. Our family used Hickton funeral directors recently for my Nan's final journey. From the very first inquiry call I made to them, I spoke to the lovely Laura in their Penn branch, who always made me smile whenever we spoke on the phone, to Greg coming to see us and being so supportive, and Roger at the Castle Bromwich branch, who gave us such warmth while seeing Nan in the chapel of rest. The whole way through the process everyone at Hicktons were amazing and they treated my Nan and our family with the upmost respect at all times. A massive thank you to all those involved, from my heart, you made my Nan's final journey so special from start to finish.

A very professional yet sympathetic and sincere service the staff displayed empathy to our bereaved family members that helped us through a very difficult and sad time for us with the loss of our dear dad and grandad. I recently lost my dad and was fishing around looking for funeral homes with my family. When we came across Hicktons, it was like stepping into a cool breeze after being hot. This funeral home was a breath of fresh air, Roger and Tracey couldn’t do anything more to give us a great experience, but best believe they will try. Roger would sit and listen with us when we spoke about our dad and from that he formed a level of respect and love towards my dad, even in his death. Roger helped us customise his funeral to his liking and we managed to smoothly give my dad a beautiful, memorable final walk on this earth.
