Tapi Carpets & Floors

We have been to other carpet places before and were never really impressed enough to write a review. However, there is always that exception to the rule. TAPI carpets for us are that exception. Extremely friendly, no pressure, Relaxed and very easy to deal with. Their carpet fitters are also very pleasant, polite and efficient. We had our carpets fitted last year in the lounge/diner, hallway, stairs and landing. I have left feedback for this long, so I can also comment on the quality of the carpets provided. I am pleased to say; the carpets still look as good as when they were fitted. As we also run a business from our home, we get more than the usual traffic through the hallway and living room. The quality of the carpets has to date coped with the traffic with no issues.Well done TAPI, we will be backHighly recommended

Been here looking for laminate/vinyl flooring, not alot of choices and the prices are quite high compared to the competition, if your looking for carpets then this is the place for you.

Had whole house recarpeted three years ago. Problem with one room which has now been recarpeted three times. Good quality carpets and no problem in rest of house. Tapi Derby and their suppliers have been very patient and polite with us and have always dealt efficiently with our complaint.Such good after-sales service that we would definitely use them again

They were both so helpful. I went with my eldest who has autism. They were amazing with us. We went to another store opposite where the customer service was awful. Also they woman there kept staring at my eldest. It made my child extra anxious and afraid. So my eldest was really nervous when we went into the Tapi shop. They really helped and were so patient. I really cant reccomend them enough. They put us both at ease and made the whole process less fretful for my child. Big thank you to Paddy and the lady that was there too.

The staff at Tapi carpets are fabulous! It’s my first time moving house and they gave me the most amazing help when it came to me choosing my carpets for my new family home. Excellent customer service. No pressure sales. Have relaxed expertise are there to help with any questions to enable and pass on knowledge, which I found invaluable. Nothing is too much trouble. I have purchased two carpets from Tapi now and the fitting is done with speed and perfection. Terrible service and a useless carpet fitter! Be warned they use contractors too fit the carpets who couldn't careless. We had expensive carpet fitted on two sets of stairs and the landing. It was poorly fitted too the point the fitter had too come back out for a second time take the lot up and start again! This was after a visit from a tapi member of staff who said the fitting was below standard. Tapi made everything are problem when it was cleary there problem. There has been no apology or any kind of sweetener too make things OK we was more of a problem rather than the fact how bad we was treated! Also the large roll of carpet for the landing me and my partner had to help him carry it up the stairs because he turned up on his own! We will not be useing tapi again ever! really bad experience too be honest. Shocking

This was the first carpet we have ever bought and we went with Tapi because of the relaxed no pressure environment in their shop (combined with the cheapest quote that we had been given). Had a choice of any date for fitting, and the fitting was done very quickly by a very friendly team of fitters. They will be the first place we go when we start looking into other rooms.
