I went for an infill and a repair on two nails, the lady was so hostile and refused to acknowledge me when i spoke, objected or tried to communicate what i want. I mentioned the repairs for the two fingers and was ignored. She refused to prep my cuticles, They used the wrong acrylic colour and when i asked to see a sample of it first, she refused. She made the acrylic well into my cuticles and didnt want to take the time to drill it out, when i pointed out they would lift, she argued with me about it and i had to speak to the manager who did nothing. That same evening the nails i needed fixed broke again. I went back the next day, was made to wait for 30 mins, i asked that the lady from the day before not be the one to repair the nail because she ignored me yesterday, they sat me with someone who gave me two 4mm thick nails and mismatched polish. It was a horrific experience and alot of the behaviour towards me felt racially biased. The hostility from Asian communities towards black people is always present. See attached photos, my fingers arent dry, thats leftover acrylic that still hasnt come off a day later.

It seems like the nail technicians do not enjoy fileling and only prefer one colour jobs. The attitude I got from the lady technician in the Hua wang Apron was a little weird. I originally wanted ombré but they did not have the colour I wanted so it was only right I changed the design into a French manicure with a pink tip when the nail tech saw I had coffin shaped Acrylics already on she began huffing and puffing when he saw he had to cut and file my nails to make it square she was even sarcastic in her remarks like I asked her to do a complicated design . I don’t know if she was on her time of the month but it was just rude considering the appointment was in the early morning. At the end of the day customers are not just paying to get their nails done but they’re paying for a good service, to have this type of service in east London was definitely strange I would have just got them done in South London if I wasn’t going to get a friendly service bare in mind it wasn’t a free/ discounted service I did not appreciate being treated like a burden. If she wasn’t up for working she shouldn’t have come in. I don’t even think my nails were filed properly still a little sharp. Hopefully next time some of your technicians can improve their attitude it’s really not hard. My first and last time.

It would of been 5* if it wasn't for the rough handling, nail bed bled. Very neat though and got the desired shape that I wanted. Very hesitant to go back as out of my area.

My favourite nail shop. Only place I’ll go for my nails. There customer service is amazing and Michael from the well street branch is so helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend Tracy for nail designs. She’s the BEST !

Another brilliant salon in Hackney. The staff do the nails to the best quality. I first came to this salon in 2022 and have been going there ever since, that’s how great it is.

I have come here for many years but my last experience was awful and I'll no longer come back. The quality of the services has declined drastically. Care is no longer taken and they rush. I got a full set done and within two days one nail had broken off and a second nail was starting to crack. I went back to the salon and they were willing to fix it. During this nail repair service, the guy doing my nails was very heavy handed with the drill and it burnt my finger so I flinched. Instead of reducing the setting of the drill he continued on the same setting that burnt me and scolded me instead telling me not to move. I cannot control a natural body reflex to pain. To make matters worse the following week another nail broke. All in all this set cost me £40 and didn't even last two weeks. I had to go to another nail shop to get a fresh set done meaning I had to spend more money to rectify his mistakes. Very disappointed in this experience. The women in the shop are very good but the men not so much. I've had my nails done here previously by the ladies and never had issues, the nails have lasted 5+ weeks. This is the first time I've had my nails done by one of the guys (not the manager) and it was a complete disaster. Nails didn't even last 2 weeks, such a waste of money and it was embarrassing walking around with broken nails.
