I bought a Piano recently from Mark & Oliver and the process was very simple and nothing too much trouble, with sound advice and patience while I played a number of Pianos on numerous different occasions. I ultimately changed the Piano I wanted at the last minute as the one I'd reserved I had some slight reservations on it's suitability for me and they changed without any issue. If you want to buy a Piano from a reputable seller, with no pressure and have a great choice this is the place, especially if you want to buy a Kawai Piano which I did. I have recently bought Casio - 510 piano. Thanks to Oliver for a great service on telephone. He provided me with all useful information about Casio-510.Also delivery guys were very helpful. I have played piano all my life but bought my first Kawai piano at the Piano Man in Leeds about ten years ago (on the strong recommendation from a jazz pianist friend of mine). The owner Mark provided me with all the information and advice that I required and guided me towards the sort of piano that he believed would best suit my style, ability and price range. I was definitely not disappointed with the service!Later, when I wanted to upgrade to a better model, I returned to the Piano Man. Mark and the rest of his team (Oliver and David) once again excelled in customer service. I spent many hours over numerous days playing every piano in the shop (quite a lot!) and eventually (with their help and advice) I settled on the excellent Kawai K600. Including the trade-in on my old Kawai, and a generous price reduction on the K600, I got an overall very competitive deal, with which I am totally satisfied.In summary, there is only one shop that I would recommend to anyone looking to buy a new or second-hand piano, and that is the Piano Man in Leeds!

We bought our upright piano from Mark at the piano man, Leeds, They we’re recommended to me by my dad.We were able to visit the showroom and given time to make our choice. The instrument was carefully delivered on time to the room of our choice. Excellent communication throughout. The follow up tuning service was extremely helpful too.It’s a beautiful piano, which visitors often comment on, and it sounds wonderful (well as wonderful as I can make it sound haha)Our piano provides a focal point for our family, with our children learning to play too. I purchased a Kawai upright piano from the Piano Man around two and a half years ago. I was offered advice which I found very useful, recommendation of model type to suit the function of the room and acoustics, even advice on how to mic the piano and remove some of the wooden structures to improve sound for recording and live performance purposes. Contact and reply to contact was prompt, friendly and efficient, delivery on time and professional on all occasions. I visited the Piano Man shop to help someone else acquire a piano when I met and spoke at length with both Mark and Oliver. They are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful, and they let me try a wide range of pianos, all of which were a pleasure to explore. I found trying the uprights rewarding as well as informative. However, I have a grand piano and have more experience with a wider range of grands than of uprights. So, I was particularly interested in trying the grands. I was very impressed indeed with the quality of them. After my visit I received additional insightful advice from Oliver. I would recommend a visit to the Piano Man shop to anyone looking for a good upright or grand and living in Yorkshire or beyond.
