Loch Ness Highland Resort

Clean, comfortable, well equipped lodge at a great price. Resort is very close to village, easily walkable. Staff welcoming and friendly (even when telling us we weren't allowed to charge our EV).Surrounding area is spectacular - from the stunning natural beauty of Loch Ness to the remarkable engineering of the locks that dominate Fort Augustus - but the resort, though very tidy and orderly, is slightly disappointing being composed of what feels like hectares of gravel, with only tiny strips of grass and a few sorry looking shrubs.

Although I have family in the area, I would not return to this accommodation or recommend it to others.The shower sealant in the pod was mouldy.When we arrived, the man who showed us to our pod had a go at my grandfather who was waiting for us in the car park with our luggage. He was a real let down to his colleagues who were otherwise polite and professional.Overall, the pod was nothing particularly special. There are nicer places to stay in the area.I shared my feedback via the link I was emailed after my stay. The review was published with the negative elements hidden.

It's a fantastic park. The pod units are compact but well designed to be useful and comfortable. They are quite new and very clean. All of the essentials are provided.There are laundry facilities on site. Playground and picnic areas are well kept. Rabbits everywhere.The staff was so friendly and helpful.Price and location are excellent.The only downside is that there is no WIFI or streaming service on the TV, but perhaps that will be added in the future.

We stayed for 2 night 17th-19th of September in one of the VIP lodges.On the morning of our departure we had a lovely breakfast at the restaurant on site and finished our coffee at one of the tables outside under cover. That resulted in my light blue jeans being terribly stained by brown paint and varnish transfer from the bench. I have contacted the resort about this issue and they promptly apologised and requested payment details for the owners to compensate me.I have sent those together with the suggestion of trying the dry cleaners first.I have forwarded pictures of the damaged jeans as well as the receipt for the dry cleaners, they were unsuccessful in removing the paint, and also a picture of the jeans with the retail price.I have been chasing for a response ever since to no avail.They know this has happened at their resort as the young lady in the restaurant was shocked and apologetic.The lack of accountability is infuriating.I had to travel back to Wales in muddy hiking trousers looking dirty and feeling embarrassed.

Brilliant wee place to stay. Hot tubs are well kept, rooms were immaculate. Lovely views and close to the village. Enjoyed our stay.

We spent a week here with the grandkids, loved the peaceful setting.Unfortunately there was no shop and no WiFi on site.The restaurant was good with freshly cooked hot food.

Second time visiting and staying with lochness highland resort staff are lovely pods and lodges are beautiful, clean and plenty room also the restaurant food is amazing will most definitely be back and would highly recommend it to Any family

Perfect place for touring. Fort Augutus buzzing town and we all loved the place. Boat rides on Loch Ness and from Malaig. Not enough cutlery etc in lodge, but will be back!

Lovely short trip here staying in a Colorado model with hot tub. Lovely site, great swing park and food in restaurant was great. The apartment was great.Thank you for a lovely stay!
