The Whisky Barrel King

Very poor experience. Took 4 weeks to arrive, we ordered 16 bourbon 40 gallon barrels, first pallet of 8 arrived as 50 gallon dumpie hoggies which weren't too bad but second pallet arrived 10 days later after chasing and they again are 50 gallon barrels, dried out with hoops missing. We have spent 2 hours trying to salvage what we can from them and half of them will have to be wrote off as only fit for firewood. If you can't supply what we order then you really shouldn't be trading.

Popped in for a few barrel lids today and had great service as usual. The guys are always really friendly and happy to help. Have picked up barrels from them in the past and had bulk quantities delivered as well. Top class service and the best prices around

Not worth the effort you have to put in to trade with this guy. I’d never use him again.This guy needs to sort out his communications.Barrels were a bit rough when they came but come up very nice with a little tlc

This chap is a pure scammer. We ordered 12 barrels months ago and have been fobbed off each time we try and make contact. Some weeks there was complete radio silence, others we were told “next week delivery” or “be there Friday”. We arranged for a forklift driver to be available each time were left totally embarrassed when we had to return the forklift unused. I even tried asking local hauliers if they had any barrels in their yards just in case. But to no avail. We have been conned by a horrible, dishonest individual. All our plans to use the barrels scuppered. Please do not touch this site with a barge pole. The level of dishonesty is belief. AVOID!!

SCAMMER! Beware of dealing with this company. The likelihood is that you will pay for goods but will never receive them. I placed an order for 24 half barrel planters in July 2023, but still haven’t received them. I have constantly tried to chase my order. Lots of broken promises of when I will receive it. Emails go unanswered and phone calls are ignored.Save your time and money and buy your barrels and planters from elsewhere. Look at the other Google reviews and comments on their facebook page and you will see there are lots of other companies and individuals who are still awaiting goods they have paid for. If you speak to local transport companies around Stirling, you will soon discover that none of them will deal with the Whisky Barrel King as they don’t pay their bills.It seems Henry White JR has no problem taking peoples’ money but doesn’t understand customer service and business relationships. BEWARE!

Do NOT pay this company a penny until you get your goods! Henry White JR still owes us 8 barrels which we paid for in August 2022 - yes - a year ago! Also owes us for wine barrels we paid for 8 weeks ago - he denies we paid him but obviously we have proof of bank transfer. He promised to replace the scrap 32 barrels we received in July (falling apart, bands missing, holes in) but just more lies. He refuses to send our goods even though he has taken our money as I have posted negative reviews (I have a copy of his message stating this). Most haulage companies won’t deal with him unless he pays upfront due to him failing to pay them in the past. If you pay this man it’s 99.99% that you WON’T ever receive your goods. He has been reported to Trading Standards by Citizens Advice….

I have traded with this company for a couple of years, there is no service, there is no customer care, what you do receive is poor quality barrels, if you receive them that is.In it to make a quick Buck. Stay well away.

I ordered & paid for 6 Bourbon Whisky barrels in July 2023 & I have still not received them. The order stated delivery 4-5 days ? I have had no answers to my telephone or email messages. It is not looking good so please, 'buyer beware' !

Scammer do not use ! He will accept your money and then give you excuses for months as to why your barrels haven’t arrived , they will not arrive.
