Amazing boarding facility for cats. Fantastic setting and lodges. Jane is so caring and dedicated to her special guests.

Jane and the team offer amazing accommodation, and care that is second to none.We're long standing customers and won't take our kitty anywhere else! The cabins for the cats offer better standards than some hotels I've stayed in for humans. Knowing theres heating, outdoor run, and TV is great, then for longer stays, access to the CCTV is an added bonus to see how our little girl has settled in.

Simply the best cattery we've used by an absolute country mile!As the owners of 3 cats with individual needs, including a Siamese with special dietary & medicinal needs we're really careful about where we leave our cats.If Jane's thorough pre-booking tour hadn't already convinced us then collecting 3 chilled out happy cats did.Can't recommend Woodland Nook highly enough.

This was the first time we’ve left our cats in a cattery and Woodland Nook simply blew us away! Our cats can be quite timid and anxious however Jane was so fantastic and patient with them that they’d settled in within a couple of days. The rooms they stay in are so lovely and cosy with plenty of space, places to hide away and an area to get some fresh air and look out onto the gardens. We’d had to book the cats in for 3 weeks but Jane kept us updated on them the whole time, including sending photos which was so lovely and helped to reassure us they were in the best place. I wouldn’t hesitate to book in again at Woodland Nook if we need to and in fact, this is the only cattery we’ll ever take our cats to!

Our boys have stayed here a few times now and it’s the only place I would send them. Jane is amazing, she’s so kind and understanding of how hard it can be to part with your fur babies. After having a bad experience at another cattery I was anxious about boarding my senior cats but they both love it here. The rooms are so big and the catios looking out onto the woodlands are gorgeous. I want to stay here too! Getting pictures sent through whilst we were away was lovely and put our minds to rest. Highly recommend boarding your cats here.

If you are searching for a cattery that will take care of your babies with the love and attention they deserve, Jane is the best possible choice. Our two kittens settled almost immediately upon arriving (even the more nervous one) and Jane did everything she could to make sure both the cats and ourselves were at ease, succeeding every step of the way. The rooms are wonderful and homely and Jane's nature is so kind and calm that it's enough to fill anyone with confidence in her ability to accommodate. Worth every penny - look no further!

Five Stars Aren't Enough!What Jane offers your cat at' Woodland Nook' is just unbelievable.I have not found any other to compere with the high level of accommodation and service. On arrival both myself and my cat (who is very nervous, as she is a rescue) were somewhat stressed by the car journey. Jane's greeting and manner is very friendly and relaxed. There was no' rushed' booking in, where I felt I was dumping my cat and just leaving. Jane recognised Harmony's particular needs straight away ( that she was afraid in a strange place) and used her knowledge and experience to calm the situation.The cabins are very impressive, a real warm welcoming home from home, for what is your feline family member. So very different from the small 'prison like' caged cells, which seem to be the usual cattery offering. I felt at ease straight away (you wouldn't mind a stay there yourself!)For me, and I suspect many cat parents, it's not just about boarding your cat out while you take a holiday. That feeling of leaving them somewhere strange can feel akin to leaving a small child alone. I never felt that here! It was more akin to having her stay with a trusted kind friend who understood her body language and anticipated her needs and spent time with her.On collection Harmony was very relaxed rubbing on everything and in no hurry to leave, quit a difference from the cat I left, which says it all really.The whole experience was very positive, all catteries should be like this one. Of course it's about the proprietor as well. Jane is very much a 'Cat Person' who took time to actually talk to me about my cat!!. I got a strong feeling that this isn't just a business. Woodland Nook is run by people who are passionate about what they do, and they do it very well indeed!Thank you so much. We will be back!Val and Harmony xx

If you want your cat to stay somewhere nicer than where you're going to, it's here.Jane is the owner of the cattery, CAT MAD, and it shows in the love, care and affection she gives to all the cats staying with her. She has plenty of her own, but as the cattery has multiple rooms with different styles, all the cats have their own space, room, bed, and even kitchenette & ensuite in some cases!I could not recommend this cattery more, and if you've got time, ask for the tour, you will be amazed.

5 Star accomodation for your moggie. Individual pens are very spacious, in a lovely shaded location amongst mature trees and provide accomodation that can best be described as home from home". We have been regular customers for 7 years and always found the care for our pet to be first class. The proprietor is very diligent and accomodating to any individual needs. Cattery accomodation is a bit limited in this area; Woodland Nook is not the cheapest but it's popularity speaks for itself."

Jane is simply the best! Cat woman extraordinaire. Looked after our 2 puds as we would. Jane knew I was anxious about their first stay in a cattery and Jane kept me updated with regular photos to show my babies were having the best time ever - Thank you Jane! Xxx
