came and gave a quote saying that it was condensation and it was later proved to be penetrating damp caused by porous cement between the bricks and loose rendering which there engineer did not even notice.Very unprofessional

Just another damp-proofing sales company that uses electronic damp meters to detect rising damp, even though they are designed for use in timber and give falsely high readings when used in masonry. Avoid these guys and get an independent damp surveyor in. (I am a graphic designer btw, no affiliation with the industry.)
