GAIL's Bakery Bracknell
Great to have a new bakery open in Bracknell. Very lively and a little bit chaotic on opening day but I guess that's to be expected. Tried the cheese and ham croissant that had plenty of filling but could have done with being heated up to get the best out of it. The cappuccino was ok but not strong enough for me. The eggs and bacon was the stand out dish (if a little pricey at £8.50) Probably one of the best small breakfast options in Bracknell. Will defiantly be back to try some of the other goodies.

I tried one of their cinnamon buns today and my taste buds were elevated to a whole new level of deliciousness I never knew existed.Removed a star as this place doesn't accept cash.

Gail's is a true gem among bakery and café chains, earning every one of its five stars with an effortless blend of warmth, quality, and downright deliciousness. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly baked goods wraps around you like a comforting hug. The pastries are a heavenly symphony of flakiness and flavour—each bite is a journey into pure bliss. The baristas are artisans, turning every cup of coffee into a masterpiece. What sets Gail's apart is not just the exceptional food and drinks, but the genuine smile and welcoming atmosphere that make every visit feel like coming home to a place where good taste and good vibes converge.

I stumbled upon this place in the Lexicon Bracknell.Delightful little bakery, serving fresh pastries, cakes, buns and coffees. The shop has seating for over 30 people and has a great european vibe with its open view bakery and lemon yellow decor!

I can't find the same clean and nice service everywhere,so this place was fine. The things I ate and the coffee were delicious. Many thanks.

Really good tasting bun. It was an egg and spinach bun with chilli jam I believe and was absolutely gorgeous and surprisingly filling as it was on the small side.Latte was fantastic and strong which was very needed! It is very expensive - I paid £8.50 for the bun and latte so it was expensive but nice food.Staff were lovely

This has to be the weirdest Gail’s out there. Upon entering, one feels as if trespassing into the Land of Giants - the door is heavy, wooden and massive, probably 5m tall. The ceiling inside is very tall as well, and at the far end of the café (I mean it) there are 6 or 7 huge ‘steps’, perhaps to be used as additional seating. The standard seating is strange as well. Whatever expectations you have for the chain’s interior design, throw them in the bin. Here you’ll find bizarre lime green chairs, as if stolen from a kindergarten, as well as matching tables.Aside from the interior, the food and coffee on offer are just as great as in any other Gail’s, as are the extremely cheap prices everyone knows about ...

I'd see on the Monday Gail's are now in Bracknell. Brill. Lovely warm welcome. Made my choices to eat a lunch in. Then my visit went pair shaped. How to find a clean table! This task was impossible. Loads and loads of unclean tables. I sat towards the back with my tray...nothing went on the table...I'd given my name for the coffee and was slightly surprised I had to walk to collect it. So...sausage roll underbaked. Cinnamon bun over baked and my small cappuccino was only tepid. I was absolutely disappointed. A staff member was rummaging in a step/seat that was adjacent to my table. His chair kept knocking the table I was sitting at and the banging he was making was totally unacceptable. Had I of not been on my own and not feeling 100% my food and coffee would have been returned. I would have highlighted the dirty chairs and tables and I would have challenged the thoughtless staff member making a racket. Dear, oh dear.

Classic Gail’s…with a GARGANTUANLY impressive front door! The cinnamon bun was as squidgy and cinnamony and I’ve ever had. Staff member who served us was friendly enough.Colour scheme seems like a mistake and the acoustics don’t lend themselves to screaming children. You have been warned! Hence, 4* rather than 5.

There isn't a lot of choice for coffee in Bracknell so we end up here. The Snacks and Cakes are good and original. The Bread is very good. The Coffee is ok. But I dont like the service across the counter. It's never friendly or welcoming and if you dare to ask for something different, or check if that's Decaf, you get a withered look like you are wasting their time. It always seems chaotic and very noisy. Particularly the monstrous grandstand at the rear which must have been thought up by the interior designer when they were high on a sugar rush or too much caffeine. It acts as a climbing frame for kids, and their stamping around just echoes through the shop. It's not a relaxing place to be.I'd love to go somewhere else but lack of choice!!
