Great service- cleaned chimney, capped off chimneys and put bird protection on the remaining chimney. Use cherry picker-very carefully and repaired /moved around some slates free while at it!

CCS repointed and fitted new chimney pots and cowls for us, repaired the flashing as well as straightening some roof tiles while they were up there. Couldn’t have asked for a better service.

We had a new wood burner installed along with a new liner. The team were very professional from the outset and also very flexible with booking the installation date. They did a high quality job and clearly have lots of experience with what they do. Would recommend without any hesitation.

We had our log burner fitted by Ray and Dominic, what a great experience, minimal dust, all furniture and floors were covered with dust sheets and walkways.the end result was beautiful, they also hoover at the end of each day. They both are very knowledgeable, professional and respectful. From booking with Sarah, to the finished product was stress free, I cannot fault the company. Highly recommended

Chacombe Chimney Services recently installed a new wood burning stove for us - really impressed with everything and couldn’t be happier with the work. From the initial meeting and working through the quote/providing options, through to the work itself, we were really pleased - they were professional, easy to communicate with, very clear in their explanations and did a great job. Would definitely recommend and will certainly use again!

We have just moved into an old town house in Banbury and asked CCS to sweep our chimney which according to the previous owner had not been used for 5 years. They were quick to respond and Ray with an assistant arrived to undertake a normal job. It was soon clear that we had been misled by the vendor. Ray found that the chimney had not been swept for many more years than 5; it was absolutely full of soot. More important, the fireplace including mantelpiece had not been fitted/embedded but really just nailed/screwed on to the wall and floor to look like a 'nice' surround. Despite the problems with the soot shooting through gaps that should not have been there, Ray managed to clean it thoroughly and kept the overspill to an absolute minimum. He of course had to 'fail' the fireplace on the certificate, as emissions of soot and CO would be almost certain were it to be used. Since then he has written for us a forensic description of the faults which we will use as part of our evidence against the previous owner who left the house in an unsatisfactory condition in many more ways than this. I wholly recommend CCS for their care, responsiveness and professionalism.
