Excellent home-made chicken-breast shawarma, cooked on an open flame using wooden logs. The fries came on the side so aren't the picture but they're amazing too. Excellent value for £11 considering the quality and quantity. Highly recommended.

My husband and I visited for lunch and were so impressed with the quality of this place. The food was some of the best we have ever tasted in any place. The chicken was barbecued in front of us, served with a ton of delicious rice, salad and sauces. The meat in the wrap was insanely tasty too. The staff are so friendly and nice - they gave us a free taste of Syrian coffee while we waited and explained what certain dishes involved. One word of warning is that the food takes a while to be prepared, but it is worth the wait! I wanted to buy ten more meals because everything was so good. If you are in Edinburgh you will not regret going here.

I popped in here at about 6pm on Saturday. I was visiting before Leith Walk gets truly busy and I was hoping for a seat inside. I got one, but only just as inside there are two tables for groups of about four. I think the main seating attractions are the tables with hookahs outside and frankly I'm too intimidated to even start that conversation!I had slight regrets when I walked in because there's no menu and I was greeted with a warm, What do you want?"I asked for and was given the shawarma places (perhaps) only menu. Thoroughly enjoyed Chicken Shawarma. A more traditional Syrian experience I imagine, service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. Was relatively quiet but even when busy it looks like there would be plenty of seating.I like being able to watch the food prepared too which you can here.

Just had a mixed Shwarma meal. Which was delicious. I’ve eaten quite a few Shwarma over the years and this was one of the best.The taste and juices in the shwarma are mouth watering. The chips are delicious and dips are fab.The box lasted 5-10 minutes lol ! Will be back again very soon.Thanks for the coffee too !Shahid

This is my third time having meals here. I love the rice, lamb, both fried and roasted chicken! Don’t forget to order Syrian tea to refresh after meal. They have a cozy space for dine in downstair too! I can tell, the taste of shawarma, chicken is incomparable from the other restaurant!
