My daughter has made great improvement in her playing and over all as a musician since starting lesson at JT Guitar. John is very supportive and offers brilliant advice and guidance. The music club, cafe and live music is a fantastic addition to our town.

My daughter had piano lessons here and loved every single one. John was great to deal with and the Christmas gift voucher offer was a great introduction to private music lessons. Easy to find in the centre of town. Couldn't recommend more.

I have been attending my guitar lessons here for a few months now and have enjoyed every one of the them. JT (guitar teacher) is a nice guy who is very good at what he does, and you can always expect to have a great conversation with him when you meet him. His lessons have taught me a lot in the time I've attended, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to play an instrument.

Wow! Five stars does not do John justice. He is an amazing bass guitar teacher and my daughter has progressed lots. Her confidence has grown so much. It’s thanks to John and some of her other vocational teachers that she has now gained a place at Tring Park performing arts school. If you’re thinking of guitar lessons then this is the place to go.During lockdown we continued lessons on zoom and They have been invaluable in keeping the routine going and insuring my daughter doesn’t miss out on important lessons.

John and the team are great at tailoring lessons for the individual, for inspiring them to learn and giving them the confidence and skills to achieve results. My son has loved every lesson he has had with John and his main guitar playing goal is to be as good as John! John is a positive role model who is patient and kind. We can’t thank him enough for working with our son over the last five years . Highly recommend anyone to use this business.

I’ve been doing guitar with JT since the beginning of the year and couldn’t be happier with progress. Initially I tried self learning but was struggling with just a couple of basic chords learned.On my intro John taught me a new strum pattern and a new song within 30 mins. I guess that’s the value you get. Since then I’ve progressed well. I wouldn’t say I’m a natural but everyone is really patient, breaks the learning down into simple sections but challenges me so I can see clear progression.I’d highly recommend JTSCM for excellent tuition, they make it fun, price is very reasonable especially when you consider the progress you make vs online tools and apps

I have been a JT customer for years, I'm a slow learner. John is an excellent guitar teacher and never fails to give me something new to learn each session be a small tips or a major piece of new work.John is very patient and practical, I know because I test his patience every week! He is also knowledgeable with guitar setups and maintenance which is good to have such support available.JT is a good call for musicians of all ages whether you are a beginner or experienced just looking to tame some bad habits.

Before my daughter first arrived at The JTSCM, she was losing interest and found guitar lessons boring but now she's loving every minute of it. During the first lesson with John, she was really excited and discovered that guitar lessons can be fun. John listened to her and tailored lessons for her. He included songs she likes and keeps adding a bit of challenge she needs to keep her interested. I’m glad I found out about The JTSCM and I recommend John to everyone who wants to learn how to play the guitar. He is an excellent teacher.

My daughter is 5 and has started piano lessons with JT Guitar. I can thoroughly recommend them. Hannah takes my daughter for piano and she is wonderful.JT Guitar are a lovely company to deal with and so helpful. If anyone (no matter their age) is looking at lessons I would definitely recommend.
