Chislett Hire

I bought a tool from these people and within 24 hours it broke so returned the tool back to them only to be told that they don’t see a problem with it and if I wanted another one I would have to pay for it customer service was very very poor so I spoke to the tool supplier and they would not have a problem with giving a replacement but CHISLETT HIRE would do nothing about it even after speaking to the manager still no joy.I would NOT recommend this company to anyone else or any trade stay well away.I have spoken to tool pack and they have said that it would not be a problem for them to replace the item and this should have been done at your end. But your customer service at the counter staff was very very despicable.

Hire faulty equipment so when I had accident due to faulty platform they did nothing to help me

Went in at 3pm on a Friday on the off chance I could get a cement mixer delivered for the weekend. The were great the driver was just about to leave the yard and they called him back, loaded, and delivered within the hour. All for £22! Saved my back no end.

Recently bought a new tool, excellent service as always.

My log splitter gave up working and tripped electrics . Faults found got my friend working like new . Not a exspensive repair all staff realy friendly great service.

What a great place with such a warm welcome from the lady at the desk, she helped me choose a chainsaw, helped with what fuel I needed and all the warranty I needed, such an asset to this company.Perfect from start to finish

I have little experience, however my rating is based on the fact that they are closed on Saturdays. Non sensical, and surely the day most would want to hire garden tools etc

Just rented a floor sander, first time I ever used one. I have chosen this company as I wanted support local businesses and their prices are competitive. The staff were amazing, helpful and kind. They will help with whatever you need and explain everything. I will be back soon to hire more things.

Friendly nice staff. Can’t do a enough to help. Hired a turf cutter for the weekend found I could not fit it in the car. Staff did everything that that can to help me and got it sorted. 5 stars
