Went in person to book (because app didn’t work), the girl said it’s all booked for you. Came back to play the next day, and the booking is not in the system. Girl behind counter totally unhelpful, refuses to fix the issue even though there is a court free inside. Shame about the decline of the service at this centre, used to be great. Happened 6 pm Sat 1 July.

Great place to watch a hockey match. All the seats have a good view of the field. I recommend getting seats behind one of the goals

Charging 30 quid an hour for Indoor Tennis is called ripping people off, not sure how many people can afford that.People are forced to go all the way to redbridge to play on indoor courts inspite of stratford having such great facilities. The outdoors court cost 12 quid , might just pay 15 for an hour and go to redbridge to play on indoor courts which is only 19 mins from stratford station

This is a world class venue which is the home of Tower Hamlets Hockey Club. It has provided a base for us for the last 7 years which has helped us become National Champions. It is a legacy venue from the London 2012 Olympics.

Pitch 1 is a great venue to watch - and play- hockey. Pitch 2 has less facilities but perfectly OK.

A world class hockey pitch with plenty of seating and a very roomy bar for a quick drink during the interval or after the match. It's slightly out of the way. If arriving by public transport, Stratford tube and overground stations are about 20-30 mins on foot. Walk along the Olympic Park Avenue and see if you could spot the London 2012 Olympic Rings and the Lee Valley Velopark.

Outdoor court too windy and completely unplayable. Courts on the other side are less windy but they didn’t allow us to switch because they didn’t want to turn on the lights.Last time once we booked a court and it started heavy raining couple hours before our booked slot. We cancelled the booking because we didn’t know it would continue raining or not. They refused to refund because they said it was playable and we had to come there and if still raining the booking can become refundable. Come on, we live far from here and it is quite a trip to get there. Who’d take that risk?

The outside tennis courts are in great condition and very well maintained. In comparison with the council courts in Newham, Tower Hamlets and Hackney these courts have plenty of space between each court, plus benches where you can put the gear and have some rest. All these things are reflected in the booking price, which can be a bit steep. Looking forward to trying the indoor courts as well and some coaching eventually.
