If your reading this, you have probably been referred by your local vets and are deciding whether to persevere with local vets . Definitely make the trip to Leominster, they are amazing. I was originally here in 2020 with my French bulldog who unfortunately had to have an enucleation but they ultimately saved his life. Recently ive been back as he ran into a branch on his good remaining eye, they got me in straight away and diagnosed an ulcer requiring SCEED surgery, and gave me practical advise on how to administer the drops with my/their perseverance they have saved him from going blind. The reception staff are excellent, the on call vet was amazing, Rosella and the other vets are the best in their field. If your animal has an eye issue you must visit this clinic, they are simply the best in the UK.

I took my cat to the eye clinic today, and was a little anxious myself because I've got a very sensitive cat who hates travelling and is a very nervous little boy. From the moment his cat flap is shut he knows something is going to happen to him and he immediately becomes distressed. I do my best to keep things as quiet and comfortable for him as possible and find it hard to hand him over to the professionals because I can see he's absolutely terrified! But the staff at the clinic were absolutely brilliant with him. From the moment we came in, the receptionist was really lovely, the vet was brilliant and super thorough and very informative and the assistant was the same. They were both very gentle and caring with Gilly. The vet even popped his blanket back over the cage when we were waiting for his pupils to dilate - little things which make a big difference to a very scared cat. So I was really pleased with the whole experience...the only tiny thing I might have changed was the noise travel from the room next door. It was fine for me but we could hear the dog growling next door which I imagine might not have been so nice for Gilly but that was only a small detail and not anything unusual when taking your pet to the vet. The assistant wrapped my cat up tight in a soft towel and I could tell he felt safer inside it. Very happy customers thank you.

I cannot fault this clinic at all. I went for a pre-op in July after being referred by my amazing vet Andre. Had a lovely chat with one of the surgeons John, who was honest and told me exactly how it was and what to expect, he booked my beautiful Westie in for 5 weeks later, supplied us with eye drops and advised us what todo until 'The Big Day'. From July until August I noticed my Westies co-ordination was getting worse and she was becoming depressed, bumping into things and spending most of the time under the dining room table. I contacted the clinic a numerous of times to express my concerns and the clinic was amazing, advised me what todo until op day. On the day of the operation we were asked to be there for 8:30, got there early and was seen straight away by an amazing nurse called 'Jo' who talked us through the procedure and what to expect, of course she had to go through the 'scary bit', but she was assured me that her and the team would be doing everything they could to keep my girlie safe and well during the operation. After 2.5hr Jo came out and said how successful the operation went and how happy she and the team were, they kept her in for a extra couple of hours just to monitor her, she was completely spoilt and fussed whilst she was in the clinic recovering. After an hour Jo said she could come and sit in the car with us whilst they monitored her eye pressure, Jo was always nipping out asking how my girlie was and offered us hot drinks. Eventually the time came when we was given the go-ahead to go home. My beautiful westie went from being completely blind to having her eyesight back again, she has become like a puppy again thanks to Jo and John and their amazing work. I will never ever be able to thank Jo and John enough and of course Andre for recommending the clinic. They really do work absolute miracles. Thank-you so so much.

I can't fault the amazing service Christine and her team has provided us with. In my view she is a saint , she doesn't give up and does the best she can for your baby. She has persevered with my little girl who sadly had two detached retinas. One of which we managed to save and the other unfortunately we could not. This happened just over a year ago, unfortunately last week we had to remove the blind eye as it was causing her pain, Christine had done her best to help keep the eye but unfortunately it was causing her too much pain and discomfort so was removed. I can't rate the eye vet clinic highly enough. Without their knowledge care and dedication I would have a blind dog. Instead I have a dog that still enjoys doing agility. Thank you Christine and your team.

It’s hard to find the words to express my gratitude to Karen for everything she has done and continues to do for my elderly Shih Tzu, Tia.Tia has a plethora of complex conditions and sees' Karen for pain management. Karen’s approach and expertise mean Tia is no longer taking steroids and has avoided the complications she was having as a result of the drugs. The level of care, commitment, skill and knowledge Karen offers is unparalleled. To say she goes above and beyond is an understatement. It’s no exaggeration to say she has saved Tia’s life and on more than one occasion.Karen is quite simply an outstanding vet and a remarkable lady. I’m eternally grateful to have met her and have her fighting Tia’s corner with me. Thank you.

We was referred here due to mums dog having an ulcer on his eye that came from no where. When we arrived the place is clean and tidy with the grounds well maintained and picturesque.Reception staff was friendly and helpful on arrival offering complimentary tea and coffee. Happy to put a few pound in the charity pot for Paul Ogrady and dogs.Cleo came to see Lew, was lovely with him and explained everything prior and after review. In fairness she tried everything to assist lew but the ulcer and bugs simply resisted. On re-appointment Rosella was great also, paid attention like Cleo to Lew, really genuine and caring felt at ease with both specialist vets. Lew was provided gentle care and unfortunately had to undergo a procedure under sedation but at least it’s the best for our Lew to preserve his sight and eye.Eye surgery is not cheap, but the care our lew has had is first class. If you have issues with your dogs eye, don’t wait for it to get worse, call this vet and give them every chance you can as the clinic is worth a visit. Highly recommend

Massive thanks to both Adrian at Vets Klinic and to John over at Leominster Eye Veterinary Clinic.Sorry, this email took so long to write. It's well overdue. After 6 months Abbie is now officially fixed and out of pain. Her eye this week finally dried up and looks amazing.Adrian if you get this email I want to say well done for the final operation you carried out on Abbie Doodle Bear - John said this really helped and you did better than you first thought. Also Adrian, please recommend John and his team over in Hereford to future clients. John showed amazing compassion for Abbie and genuine love. This put me at ease straight away.John and his team exceeded my expectation; His wonderful receptionist - who turned out later to be a vet over from NZ on an internship (Please forgive me if I have her name incorrect; Christine?) Did a sterling job on the phone as my first point of contact at EVC. John was solidly booked out for over a week, but Christine and John managed to squeeze Abbie and I in so she didn't suffer a day longer than she needed to.Once at the hospital, I was greeted by a friendly and informative team who booked Abbie Bear in for her consultation. I was extremely impressed by their facilities and all their equipment.Once in the room with John and Christina, Abbie Doodles settled really quickly. Both vets were extremely thorough and held Abbie well during her examination so she didn't feel panicked or uncomfortable. This gentle approach meant that Abbie was able to be operated on whilst awake, saving Abbie Bear from having to go under. This also saved a lot of money, but not caring about the money, you always worry about the risks of them not waking up from this.I was amazed to watch and be apart of the operation knowing she was in safe hands. John took photos using a technical camera and blew them up on a large screen so all could see the issue and what they would need to do. So to say I was impressed was an understatement. Thanks to these photos, John was able to perform an operation which turned out to be a very successful one. Within two weeks Abbie Doodle Bears' eye had fully healed!I can't thank John and Christian enough for all they did. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks once again. I have a very happy doggy back!Kind regards, Diana & Abbie Doodle Bear

Our King Charles Cavalier Cooper was attacked and during the attack suffered a traumatic injury to his one eye. We rushed to see Christine at the Clinic from Solihull for an emergency out of hours appointment and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Christine and her colleague were fantastic! They were so caring towards Cooper and US!! Christine recommended that Cooper stay with her for the evening as sadly his eye could not be saved. Obviously we didn't want to leave Cooper due to what he had gone through but we felt so comfortable and reassured with Christine that it made the decision so much easier! The following day Cooper had his eye removed and whilst it was a shock to see our baby like that, the team at the clinic were again absolutely amazing.I hope no one has to go through what we did in terms of the attack however if people have a pet that needs eye treatment then the Eye Veterinary Clinic SHOULD be your first port of call!!! I can't speak highly enough of the clinic and team.
