Matt treated me over a four-month period, supporting my recovery from a transverse, mid-shaft humerus break. He instilled confidence from the very first moment; very knowledgeable, pragmatic and listens closely to diagnose the best approach on an individual basis. The progress I made after each consultation and treatment was really encouraging, whilst Matt was careful to manage expectations he was constantlymotivational. Delighted with the outcome, good value, can thoroughly recommend.

I used Matt at Hawkes Physiotherapy as I had problem with a trapped nerve. Matt was very professional and knowledgable and quickly sorted my pain out with exercise, physio and acupuncture. He left me with a series of exercises to continue with and I know if it recurs I only have to make an appointment. I would definitely return to Hawkes should the need arise.

Excellent physio. Saw Matt due to persistent knee pain, was quickly diagnosed and 5 sessions later my knee is a lot more stable and pain significantly reduced. Would definitely recommend

I suffered a Left side fractured elbow on May 12 2023. Work sent me to Matt's Stoke clinic and his first assessment showed limited range of movement.After four sessions of physio the injured side is almost as good as the normal side.The exercises on his website have helped massively, as has the turmeric supplements that I purchased from him.Matt's a very professional physio, you have to do your part and put the work in yourself but I always felt that I was in good hands with him. A+++++

Vast improvement in strength and flexibility … could hardly move, I was in that much pain when I first walked in for my first appointment. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back if anything flared back up. I have been given the tools to carry on my healing journey. My body and mind can only get better and stronger. Thanks for everything :)

Spoke to Matt and he’s given me some excellent advice without wasting any money. You know he knows his stuff and is legitimately out to help people and not pray on hurt individuals

Jo is so lovely and inviting, have been making it a monthly thing now and I have noticed such a difference in the tension in my back/shoulders already! The gentle massage feels much more helpful than the rough ones some other places will give you!

Great service and conservation, never had a bad session! Have been seeing Matt for a number of months with an overbearing bad back and I always leave feeling pain free. Following his advice I have learnt how to strengthen problem areas affecting said pain and have made quite a recovery. I would and have recommended the service to others :)

I hired Matt to provide a course of home physiotherapy for my elderly grandmother, who is recovering from a hip surgery following a fracture. She was practically bed-bound on discharge from the hospital and we were worried that she would never walk independently again.I cannot express how grateful my family is to Matt for helping to get my grandmother back on her feet & regaining her independence in no time. There is still a lot of work to be done with home exercises, but Matt has provided us with so much information and guidance that we are confident that we can continue with the progress ourselves now.I will not hesitate recommending Matt to anyone looking for a physiotherapist!
