Rowena Moyse L H H I

Rowena is a gifted teacher of horses and people. I have been a very fortunate pupil of hers when I have visited the Wales from Australia. I have driven all the pony team in various combinations and was lucky to compete with them in pairs. Rowena has endless patience and delivers clear messages throughout the lessons. She has boundless and infectious enthusiasm. The ponies are well trained and responsive, there is equipment for practice in all facets of driving. A driver of any age or capability will improve under her guidance.

Rowena has helped me enormously to build my confidence and naturally build my horse Indie confidence. She is correcting any of my habits that I can’t see like how I use my hands and helping indie and me find a rhythm. I have ridden and driven when I was young yet never had any lessons or guidance just got on with it. Having lessons with someone as detailed and experienced as Rowena who has trained and schooled and competed at a high level for many years both ponies to horses she spots if I am over critical immediately and reminds me to be patient and take my time with my horse. The results for both my pony last two years and Indie this year is amazing. I can then relax and enjoy with no pressure or concern if doing anything wrong I’m lucky to have Rowena only 1hr 20 min away to support me and encourage me to keep driving safely and with heaps of fun. Rowena has been wonderful in helping me along my carriage driving route. Very knowledgeable, takes time to understand what is best to progress. Has been helping me produce my pony in driving. We have both learnt so much and the enjoyment I get from driving is superb. My pony is becoming a little star to drive and Rowena is always on hand to help.

We had the most beautiful horses & carriage for our wedding day. It really made our day extra special and all of our guests loved it! Cannot recommend enough, it was such a brilliant experience and the carriage driver was amazing, a really lovely guy. The horses behaved impeccably even when travelling on the main road and through the farm with lots of machinery and other horses galloping around in the fields. Thank you for making our day x

Absolutely fabulous carriage taster session with the most patient and good-humoured driver and horse combo - Peter and Brwr were such fun.Their kindness for three total novices, aged between 80s and just into double figures was wonderful; instructions were clear, we felt encouraged and motivated to try harder on each new corner and obstacle!We have recommended Rowena’s carriage driving sessions to all our friends and will definitely be coming back.

Rowena, Peter and the team are amazing. They provided carriage services for my daughters wedding in the Vale of Glamorgan and we could not have been happier. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was calm and relaxed and the team were incredibly accommodating throughout the day. Both of the horses and the carriage were immaculate along with the team who wore formal dress and looked incredibly smart. My daughter was blown away when we arrived to collect her. I’ve just got home from an amazing day at Rowena’s, thank you so much Rowena for making the day so much fun and explaining everything so well, I’m off to make notes now before I forget anything!

Came here just to have a look at horse that was for sale rowena was very lovely and helpfull and gave me amazing advice to guide me on the type of horse that would be best for me x

We had a great ride out with Peter today, made us feel welcome and very relaxed as we went out for a one hour drive through the local lanes. The horses Paddy and Sid were good as gold as we had an interesting running commentary from Peter about the area and wildlife. Rowena took the time to show us the carriages and made Sarah’s day.
