Sainsbury's

small shop but ,good lot of things .

Lousy customer service and racial discrimination took place at the supermarket on sept 19,2023 in the afternoon. I was in the self check in area at number 5 machine . I was in the midst of scanning my QR code & paying for my groceries when the staff ignored proper protocol , order, courtesy to the existing customer who is ahead of the queue and in the proper area to pay for goods in the basket . The self check in area is for goods in the basket and not trolleys as it is a small area.The female Caucasian customer was still outside the checkout area.The staff allowed the usurpation of the number 5 machine ,ordered me to move to the number 7 machine. He did not tell the female Caucasian customer to wait her turn and failed in proper customer service and order. The staff was caucasian he neither was respecting the proper rules that only baskets needed for checking , did not assist to help me move my goods back into my basket and move to the number7 machine as I had heavy water bottles ! I am an Asian and in my country people are courteous and respect proper order and do not let their personal opinions on race invade and influence their decisions to override proper customer service and protocol. Even the manager did not apologise but excuse the male staff based on his condition.Sainsbury failed in training the staff on proper courtesy , protocol, customers must be treated equally and not let personal views of race colour their decisions as to not carry out proper order and customer service. Sainsbury failed to provide human cashiers to assist customers with large trolleys. Clearly , I believe that if they do not train their staff properly on proper customer service , order , courtesy they will continue to lose customers . And I will not shop in your store. Many asians and are travelling and shopping they will clearly not shop in Sainsbury if this is the sort of treatment they will receive from Sainsbury staff!

Usually a good range of products considering it's size. There is parking but up until 3PM it's pay and display. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's only it's size that let's it down but if you cannot go out of town to shop then this is the best one for you.

Small store and never find what I want need to go to bigger store as more to offer

Bang average supermarket, if you need essential stuff it’s great. Overwise…

Relatively small store but right in the middle of town with a large car park to the rear. Good products fair prices friendly staff.

We visited this store earlier today and was blown away with the amazing amount of choices and the extraordinary prices! We were served by a lovely lady named Kate and she absolutely brightened our entire day, she made us feel so relaxed and I can't speak highly enough of her! We will absolutely be returning in hope of being treated with the joy and jokes once again!

Friendly staff, helpful and happy. Well stocked.
