Murphy’s Pakora Bar
Mixed feelings on this one. It’s not a casual hang out bar with Indian based snacks on the side and it’s also not a fully fledged Indian restaurant. I’m not sure that’s the best recipe for getting a great experience. Service a highlight and was friendly and with old school Glaswegian charm. Food was tasty but not mind blowing and the menu is fairly succinct. Decor is comfortable and modern. If your not wanting a full on meal it’s worth a try

Murphy’s Pakora Bar
After traveling 26 hours from the United States to Glasgow via trains, planes and automobiles, my fiancé and I had our first meal at Murphy’s Pakora Bar. We were welcomed in by Raj and the wonderful staff that not only provided us with an incredible meal but a top tier dining experience. We felt so welcomed by Raj to Glasgow with recommendations, stories of his life, and our favorite sharing: shared passion for Indian food. Raj ensured that we were treated like royalty by try combination of Desi Lamb with some pickled fruit and Paratha and it was the most incredible taste we ever experienced. In addition to the lovely dishes featured in the photos: Chicken Pakora, Cauliflower Pakora, Samosa Chaat, and some delicious fruit slaw with popadoms. Lastly, we were able to try some Indian Ice Cream, which was a first for us- the pistachio was the best and most refreshing ice cream I’ve ever had! Overall, the best dining experience in Glasgow hands down! Thank you again ❤️

Murphy’s Pakora Bar
Fantastic place for food. Service is top quality. The food is delicious too and well priced at that. All the pakora varieties we tried were delicious and tasty in their own distinct ways. I would say they play it fast and loose with the term pakora though and they're more like fritters instead. Would recommend the achari prawns and the butter chicken was great too. Samosa chaat was outstanding. The fish tacos weren't that good (don't know what we were thinking getting Mexican food from an Indian place..)Their kulfi is amazing if you want dessert. Would 100% recommend a visit for a good Indian meal!!

This restaurant is truly amazing! Really delicious food and the staff is very kind. We had butter chicken and lamb curry, both delicious, but the star of the show was the desert. They helped me a lot when my bag was lost. Really worth a visit when in Glasgow. We felt very welcome, both during and after our dinner here!

Enjoyed our dinner here, the food was excellent. The service was very fast, the golgappe appeared in only a few minutes. If you are in the area looking for Indian cuisine I'd keep this restaurant in mind.

Murphy’s Pakora Bar
Restaurant looks quite small but pretty big from the inside. Is authentic with the taste and flavor, would recommend for sure.Couple of things to make the place even better:Service, it was the only upsetting part. The place has very fine dine ambiance but the waiters aren't very professional with welcoming you, taking the order and checking up on it. We received a room temperature bottled beer (got it changed after a bit of a struggle to get the attention of the waiter), the fish was cold and not be complaining it could have been corrected if someone had checked it up.We had a gluten in tolerant person on the table and the waiter in the beginning made it really uncomfortable mentioning that there is cross contamination even though the menu mentioned it as gluten free, the kitchen helped and we were able to have food in peace. All said, the food is good and posting my review to make it even better. All the best guys.

Great food, and great chat from Raj on our first visit. Everything was made fresh and came out as it was ready, the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties Pakora were a great twist, and the whisky sauce was super tasty. Also had some Duck Samosa on the side which were well worth the visit in their own right, definitely recommend trying them!
