It's time for a quick update following another stay here, mid-January 23. Still great value for money! Friendly and helpful stall all the way.Rooms have all been upgraded and have USB A & C charging sockets adjacent to the bed and the desk.Called here for a two night stay in late January. Great location, handy for everything in St.Annes. Very friendly, welcoming, and helpful gentleman on reception checked us in.Room wasn't the biggest, but of a reasonable size, very clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. If I have one issue, it's that there is no air con, and even in January, the room was very warm and took ages to cool even with the window open.Parking is very limited at the hotel, but there is car parking within easy walking distance. The hotel, like most other Travelodges, is dog friendly for an extra fee per stay.I would stay here again

Very noisy. Traffic never seemed to die down until around 1 am.We were right on the top floor and the window wasn't very secure. So I don't think that helped with a 3 year old. Also you could hear people in other rooms walking around.Rooms were clean, staff were lovely and were always there if there was a problem. Renovations going on while we were there.Very handy for being close to the town centre. Spoons couple of doors up. A beautiful bakery a couple minutes walk, bus right into Blackpool 2 mins away.Lovely area, we'd visit again, but would probably get somewhere a little quieter.

I stayed last night but was booked in for 3 nights but I couldn't stomach the smell of pea in my room, I had to sleep with the window open until the air-conditioning fans kicked in and they then made an absolute clatter... I did mention it to the guy on reception but he just said it could be the room spray they use well I've never heard of one that smells of pea, he told me they were due a room update,, well I would definitely avoid this hotel untill this has been done. I know you only get what you pay for and the hotel is the cheapest around but surely basic hygiene should not be compromised at any cost.Don't get me started on the lack of car parking, it's obvious that the owners of this company don't give a flying fig about the customers only the bottom line, so my advice is to give this place a wide bearth unless your absolutely desperate for a room.

Just come back from 3 nights in St Anne's where we stayed at the travel Lodge. We always have a pleasant stay but this time it was even better. All rooms have had a complete revamp. Decorated really nice new carpets new bathroom suites and two really comfy chairs and new mattresses. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble.Really recommend this place. Added bonus it only cost us around £80 for three nights.

Family room was clean, a big space with TV and tea and coffee provided. Also towels and a fair size bathroom. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Very pleased.

The booking was in my sisters name for two disability rooms.Firstly the rooms are not ground floor so not ideal. Our room. The room was a poor room layout. The windows were covered in pigeon mess, and the view was a brick wall. The net curtain was dirty. The beds were poorly made. I had to fit the fitted sheet to cover the entire mattress, so it was not ideal. Very limited towel supply, i.e., one hand towel. We did ask for extra towels. Same with tea and coffee. Luckily, I had brought some from home. The TV was dated and too small for purpose around 20-25 inches? Hung on wall and just few channels, mainly free view. The carpet wasn't great. The biggest issue we had was the wet room. The shower and floor were dirty, and the floor was black with mould and dirt. The water also didn't drain straight away.We did bring it to the attention of members of staff who didn't seem surprised. I asked to speak to the manager in the morning with my sister. They couldn't change the room as full capacity. The supervisor offered the equivalent of around £23 refund, which we refused given the fact the total cost of the room was around £90 then my sister had paid extra for her dog. We took the head office address but am not sure if my sister has followed up on thar. Overall, other than the location, I would never stay there again. A quick look at booking . Com shows more competitive and luxury apartments, guest accommodation etc some even cheaper higher standard and including breakfast.I think my sister only booked because she knew travel lodge accepted dogs. But to be honest, I was surprised how many private properties and hotels do.I don't really agree with having dogs in hotel rooms, especially the likes of travel lodge, as I know for a fact there's no extra specific cleaning they do after. My sisters dogs are well-behaved and don't bark or need toilets till mornings, etc . Not all dogs are the same, and I wouldn't want to stay in a room knowing a dog may have been on the bed or had an accident in the room.Overall, it was a very poor stay. The other room wasn't much better, but at least it was a bit brighter and wasn't facing a brick wall. That said, the shower was stiffer, and my sister had to open, i.e., turn it on for our parents.

Booked accessible room because I was in a wheelchair due to broken ankle. The room was very disappointing carpet full of stains/shower curtain grubby/mouldy/no shower gel in shower area/ stale water still in kettle. My husband complained the man on duty was great changed the shower curtain/ put shower gel in container took photos of carpet said we would receive an evoucher and was very apologetic. 2 months on not received anything even though been in the Travelodge to enquire and was told could take up to 4 weeks it is now more than 8 weeks. Very disappointed because we have stayed in lots of Travelodges really didn't want to make this review but feel I have no choice

Decent hotel just out of the way of hustle and bustle of Blackpool. Unfortunately parking is awful, need more spaces, rooms could do with updating. Nice location just off the promenade and decent wetherspoons nearby.

Very annoying to discover the shower gel dispenser is bone dry when in shower also only one towel for two people ?This was late evening so no point in complaining.Have stayed here before and no problem and will think about staying again .
