I have been a student of Mike's for many years now and every time I've been for a lesson, I've come away learning something new every session.With the clear help hes given me with techniques, theory and exam preparation, this has since helped me become an artist with Brian May Guitars and opened many other doors for me - non of which would have been possible without Mike's professional teaching standards.So basically, if you want a tutor who will tailor lessons carefully to your needs, and for a very reasonable price, hes your guy.I cant reccomend him enough.

Mike is a fantastic guitarist in every aspect, from captivating solos' to incredible ensemble playing. He has years of experience on his belt which he uses to influence his teaching. He is also a very supportive tutor and will always listen to you and help you.Whatever you want to learn, Mike can guide you, support you and help you grow into an amazing musician.

Leeds Guitar Tuition
I have had guitar lessons from a few people (some quite well known). Mike is absolutely, without question, the best teacher about. He has a vast musical knowledge and can teach any style at any level. He is a very easy going and amusing guy, who will put anyone at ease. Having seen him play both in the context of lessons and also when he performs professionally, I can attest to his technical ability and musicality, which are second to none. I have gained so much from his lessons, I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I cannot praise Mike enough. He began tutoring my son during the pandemic and booking Mike was one of the best things we ever did. Not only did my son smash his Grade 5 as a result of Mike’s tuition but his confidence and knowledge have grown tenfold. My son enjoys every minute of his lessons and they are, without doubt. a highlight of his week. Mike undoubtedly has the skill, knowledge and experience but he also managed to completely put my son at ease from the first moments of the first lesson. Do not hesitate to book him. Thank you Mike!

Mike is an excellent guitar tutor, lessons done via video conference work really well. He explains everything in easy terms and after the lesson I receive a lesson document so I can practice between lessons. Highly recommend!

My 8 year old son has just started lessons with Mike and he's been fantastic. Despite only being short sessions Mike manages to quickly establish a good mix of warm up exercises, recaps and new things to learn in a clear and friendly way. I've no doubt my lad will progress quickly and proficiently under Mike's tutelage.

Excellent teacher providing tuition across a broad range of styles. Mike has an engaging persona and tailors the lesson to the student. Excellent delivery of theory and helps unlock the fretboard allowing student to realise their potential and understand the instrument. Recommended.
