Arrived at 2 pm Saturday to be turned away by receptionist playing god ! , you should never be turned away from a walk in centre, only three people waiting, told to attend hospital no wonder our hospitals are overwhelmed. All it would have took would have been 5 minutes of the doctors time, shame on you!! Thank goodness I’m not from this area I feel sorry for you all

Great facility for out of hours medical needs. Very conveniently located right opposite the Brighton train station with plenty of convenience stores coffee shops and restaurants around.

The receptionist who dealt with me was lovely, had a bit of a wait which was to be expected. The nurse who saw to me was professional, friendly and helpful. Thanks to all for your help

Couldn’t speak to my GP as I was put on hold for 48 mins despite being ‘next in the queue.’ Two hours before they were due to close. Arrived at NHS walk in also 2 hrs before it’s due to close and I’m told they have no appointments available at the walk in centre. I understand that the NHS is under resourced but patients are left to suffer.

Went at 18:30 today to the walk in centre as its my go with a horrible back pain. There were 3 patients to be seen and the reception had a sign that they have reached their patient capacity, the receptionists were really rude and never even asked me what I had just you need to go to A&E ok I get it theres not enough doctors maybe or most probably they wanted to leave at 8 but thats not a way to treat your patient! I was there until 19 trying to call 111 but obviously they were busy so I took a taxi at 19 to the hospital. The time now is 1:14am and I’ve only seen the nurse still waiting to see a doctor as my registered gp decided to turn me down!!!P.S: At 19 when I left the queue was only 2 people and I really don’t get it why is a walking centre if they’re turning people down without even asking the condition! So unprofessional service !

Have had the pleasure of visiting twice this week and was seen promptly on both occasions. The doctor was very compassionate and thorough in investigating the issue I was having and I now have an emergency prescription and a follow up appointment at the hospital next week. Thank you!

Waited on the Friday for over an hour to be told by a doctor to come the next day. Then the appointment was cancelled on the day for when I was asked to come in. When I finally got seen two days later I was swabbing myself (in a personal place) behind a curtain and another doctor walks into the room and decides to have a conversation with the doctor who is attending to me. Felt unprofessional and evasive. Literally hope I never get ill in the future and need emergency help so I don’t have to use this service again.

Confused as to why they claim to offer a walk-in sexual health service when their microscope bulb has been broken for months. Waited 2.5 hours to be seen to then be told a proper diagnosis couldn’t happen and the was given the wrong antibiotics which delayed my recovery significantly. Came back again just to be told my case was too complex and to go to Claude Nicol Centre, which I obviously would have gone to if it was open but it’s closed on the weekends. Absolutely not going to waste my time again. Shame on this practice for taking NHS money and providing such a terrible service. They also need some trans inclusion training, telling a trans person that you “could never tell” is totally unprofessional.

genuinely the worst experience i’ve ever had at a gp. made me feel inhumane. told her i have an ear and throat infection and she dug the temperature checker deep into my infected ear, then told me to open my mouth and quickly shoved a stick to the back of my throat until i gagged with NO warning at all. have a cyst on my tongue that she didn’t even bother checking and then told me my breath smelled bad (probably because i have a literal oral infection???) because i don’t drink enough water and called me a liar when i said i do. left the GP in tears. genuinely shocking how a 5 minute consultation can absolutely shatter my mental health.
