Harold's Tyres - Team Protyre

I dropped in at 8am on a Monday morning with an issue with my work van. The lads both in reception and on the bays where absolutely spot on and dealt with the issue straight away. Great attitude and great service, both of which are not guaranteed at some other tyre places.

2 attempts to track a van and both attempts failed, I was closer without a machine its came out worse then when it went in, charged £35 they did say any problems bring it back but I haven't the time or crayons to explain its still wrong so I'll go somewhere eles

Excellent service. Fantastic response. Was left high and dry by my rental company when I had flat along the A592 at the Lake District. Called Harold's Tyres - Team Protyre, true to their word, arrived on time as they promised. All done with a brand new tyre within 20 min. Highly recommended!

Matt was super efficient...he sourced a hard-to-get special tyre for my H-D at a decent price and carefully fitted to avoid any cosmetic damage to the custom rim. Very pleased. Thank you.

DANGEROUS.Avoid this place like the plague.Took my car in for a nail removed from its tyre. Apprentice took the tyre off.Repaired it.Then cross threaded the bolts on the hub when putting the wheel back on.Was then bare face lied to by the staff about how it must have been cross threaded by someone else. Baring in mind they were the ones to take the wheel off previously for a new tyre. Forgetting that they would have noticed they were cross threaded when removing the wheel.Have been to several other companies including family mechanics who have all verified that this can only have been done by Harold’s when trying to put the wheel back on.Refused to take any acknowledgment or responsibility for this and left me with a £500 bill to have repaired. By someone else as funnily enough I didn’t want them touching my car again.Spoken to several garages and companies on gilwilly estate who have all said to avoid these cowboys

Had car trouble on a recent holiday and RAC breakdown cover were useless, just told me to drive to a garage. Rang a few to be told they were fully booked but tried here and not only did they fit me in to take a look at the car they also found the time to carry out the repair knowing we were due to travel home early the next day. Car was great afterwards and I felt much better driving the 200+ miles home knowing it had been fixed. Great garage and very nice staff

Great service, two tyres supplied and fitted to my van on Saturday morning.Quality work at a competitive price with friendly service.Highly recommended.

Day after car was serviced the engine light comes on, go back to be told that it's the fuel air flow sensor and that it and the filter needs replaced. This way in January and was quoted around £220 for the work. Finally decided to get the work done this month to be told new price was £337! So instead went to another garage who would do the same job for £160. However, turns out that the car didn't even need a new filter or sensor and that infact whilst the car was in being serviced or the next day when getting checked someone had actually just unplugged the sensor and hidden the wire!

Fantastic service. We had a puncture on holiday. They identified the puncture and replaced the tyre the same day for a very reasonable price.
