Emma did a one on one online with us last night. Our adorable puppy had some problems with sleep and we had lots of questions about toilet training and biting. The consultation was so helpful and we feel much more confident now. And after just one session we already have her going outside! We also got some advice about how to prevent her developing separation anxiety – a big concern with us all at home in these early months, given that in September we will all be back at work and school!We were concerned about how well the online would work, but it wasn’t a problem at all. I first contacted and arranged a 1-1 with Emma 3 days after our little pup arrived and it was the best thing we could have done. She spent a couple of hours advising us on how to set up her own area, build a routine that fitted in with our family life, toileting & obedience. A few months later we enrolled on obedience training & we now have a well trained little cockapoo who is well socialised, excellent recall and walks to heel off lead & greets people in a loving appropriate way. Emma is very knowledgeable about issues affecting dogs, professional in the way she works and most importantly her methods work. She really loves dogs and is passionate about wanting to ensure all dogs reach and fulfill their potential. If you are considering getting a dog or have a dog which you want to train to be well behaved and responsive to your instructions I would highly recommend.

Fantastic Lady Emma and her team.i started with Essex Dog Training in late may 2018 with my them 8 moth old Rottweiler Ellie as I was out of touch with training a dog. Emma has small classes of 6 1 human ( me) 1 dog Ellie. Emma made every one feel welcome on out Journey to Bronze Obedience this was an 8 week course. Well all I can say is what fun we had every lesson was different we got to meet lovely people and such amazing dogs. Any dog that Emma went to would do it just right for her amazing. Ellie and I managed to pass our Bronze Obedience it was hard going with homework every week. The one thing that has always stuck in my head was when Emma said have trust your dog. Sadley I had to have 3 months off due to s knee replacement. Ellie and I started again with Emma again in January 2019 and with alot of hard work passed our Silver and Gold Obedience we fantastic help from Emma and her team. We then started with Amanda to do tricks and Ellie and I passed our Apprentice. I would recommend Essex Dog Training to everyone with a big support network from all of Emma's team and lots of support in her Facebook groups. Had our first online session with Emma(be responsible- social distance, protect yourselves & the NHS), she was fantastic and very worth it! Our Weimaraner, Blue, is 18 weeks and such a lovely dog but needs training as she gets to excited and sometimes...destructive haha! But Emma knows exactly what’s she’s doing and has given us a solid foundation to work from and we are already seeing a few results on day one! Emma is well experienced in dogs, she knows her stuff. I took my puppy to obedience training and am so pleased I did. I know for certain if I hadn't been training with him that he would be a different dog and would have a lot of problems with him. I 100% recommend taking your dog to training with Emma.

We have attended (and just completed!) our first course with our puppy and have had amazing results. Emma is patient and understanding and also gives you confidence to succeed when training your dog. I feel as if I know my puppy really well now and understand her better. It is easier to eliminate lots of the undesirable puppy behaviour by using the tips and training tricks Emma has shown us.
