Coach is not attentive to new joiners and also quite rude. Would not recommend.

Dropped in from out of town and got quick online responses to my inquiries. Did Ed’s lunchtime class and found him to be a solid instructor. He ran a balanced, organized and technical class that started and finished on time (he even offered me a towel!). Class was a blend of levels with beginner trials in attendance (so don’t be intimidated, white belts!).

This isn't my regular gym but it's opposite my office so I've been and trained with them a few times and it really is an excellent school. The way Tsuyoshi structures the classes and delivers instruction is great and every time I've trained there I've come away feeling like I've really learnt something new. The coaches and the members are really friendly and welcoming, go roll with them.

TL/DR: I dropped in on Carpe Diem BJJ in London and had a very good experience. 10/10 would recommend.I am currently in London for a work trip and needed a gym to drop in on. After some recommendations here and Google, I chose Carpe Diem BJJ. I was the only woman on the mat, which is something I am used to. But I am coming back after hiatus because of pregnancy, pelvic floor dysfunction, and ab separation. The instructor, Leo, took time to ask me before class if I had injuries and then even came by during techniques to help me with my positions since hip mobility is a huge issue for me right now. Leo even talked to me after to tell me his thoughts on my style and where he would have me focus, which was super awesome of him. I really appreciated the whole experience and highly recommend this gym to anyone passing through.

My daughter has joined and loved it. The coach Ed was brilliant. Explaining things and showing she loved it so much I had to sign up before we left

I was a member here from July 2018 to March 2023. I strongly advise against joining, especially if you're female.Head coach Tsuyoshi aka Yoshi" showed favouritism towards certain members

I had an amazing time visiting Carpe Diem BJJ London! Tsuyoshi is a great instructor and his students were both tough yet very technical rolls. The gym is in a convenient location and the space itself is clean while sporting a very unique/cool vibe to it. I highly recommend folks living in/visiting London to train here ASAP; can’t wait to visit again!
